Hi everyone, thanks for stopping by. As the title suggests this is aimed to be the most up to date list of auto-popping PS5 plats you can find – This also includes information on backwards auto-popping from PS5 to PS4.
I decided to do this after not being satisfied with out-of-date information and incomplete spreadsheets found throughout the interweb. I’m not promising this will have every auto-pop or be 100% accurate; this is merely to guide you with information I have found through the research I have carried out.

I have found this data by cross referencing all the PS5 releases as listed on Exophase – PS5 and doing research on each game throughout multiple forums and fastest achiever list on PSNProfiles.
This will be in alphabetical order to try help you quicker! EZPZ games have been removed from this post for now and have been moved to their own article!

Unconfirmed, but its speculated that if you miss the first collectable of each collectable on PS4 save, then complete game and import to PS5, that you can then just get the first collectable of each one and trophy will pop, then go back to PS4 and get the collectable to pop on that side also.

Trophies that are known not to pop are ‘Overdesign II’, ‘Skadis Hobby’, ‘Completionist All the Way’, ‘Silent Viking’, ‘Calling in a favour’, ‘As it was foretold’, ‘Orlog Champion’ among others.
Ways to get trophies to auto-pop:
- Fast travel to a random town and run around
- Accept a quest from Reda in the town and Fast travel to quest location
- Play a game of Orlog
The new Forgotten Saga trophies are known to auto-pop both ways if you die.

If you also leave 1 equipment upgrade prior to transferring save, on PS5 version when you do the last upgrade it’ll pop all 3 upgrade trophies.
There are also reports of only needing to do 1 action towards certain trophies for them to pop also although I haven’t been able to fully confirm.

Two trophies are confirmed not to auto-pop regardless of actions ‘15 landmarks’ trophy. It looks like people are either contacting Ubisoft support to reset them or they are unlinking there ubisoft account and creating a new one so they can earn this trophy again. Also ‘weekly MP level 2’ trophy; levelling up above level 2 will not pop this. You will need to wait for weekly reset then get level 2 again.

This will auto-pop all level (not chaos level) based trophies (10,20,30), Story related trophies, inventory upgrades for Mule character and the majority of the misc trophies. Certain trophies will require you leave 1 thing available from previous save, eg, leave 1 side quest and complete it on new version to pop all side quest trophy.
Since you upload your save to the cloud from PS4 it means you will still have access to it after downloading to PS5, which means you can go back and complete that final side quest you left over etc.

| This is potentially a full auto-pop. You will load all your old PS4 saves onto here however this just depends what saves you have. Because of the way the save system and chapter select operated you may have overwritten chapter saves on the old game.
Essentially you will need to load into each game save 1 by 1 and it’ll auto-pop which ever trophies were tied to those specific saves, meaning it could auto-pop all if you have saves for it or you will be left partial and need to replay specific chapters for trophies.

Just wanted to add that here it says Cat Quest 3 has autopop, which is a little true, you should add (since the game only features local co-op) that only trophies autopop when you join someone who jas the platinum, but only possible while having that person his account on your playstation (or viceversa) , i tried it via shareplay with a friend to no avail
also 2 trophies dont pop, The north star one (which can be obtained easily by redoing the fight) and the 12 puzzles, for which you need to start a new game and redo them all

Just wanted to quickly write here to let everyone know that the author StellarDylan that put up the Octopath Traveler semi-autopop guide has removed it as of June 14th, 2025. I reached to politely ask them about it but they refuse to respond and it is no longer viewable. 😦

Warriors Abyss is not a full auto pop. It’s a partial auto pop minus 1 Trophy. (Eternal Hell –
Suffered 30 defeats.) Just start a new run & then choose to retreat which will count as a defeat, triggering the aforementioned Trophy.

Puzzle Quest 3 just got a PS4 version and autopop from PS5 works. You have to download the PS4 version from the PS app, though.

Yesterday (1/4/25) i got the Fall Guys autopop, except 3 trophies “Full Throttle”, “Troublemaker” and “Style Points”.That are miscellaneous trophies so i assume it’s a bug.
But the game information in this guide may be updated as a Partial Autopop.

Warframe has had recent hotfixes with there new update that unlocks PS4 trophies after having them unlocked on PS5 for example Tomb Looter unlocked for me after previously being bugged.

When season 4 dropped, I believe most of the autopop issues were resolved. Previously, it was autopop, then an update broke the autopop system. Basically the achievements in game were achieved on one system, then it wouldn’t check back in on other systems ever, since the in game achievement was done. Haven’t played much since Season 4 and getting to 100, but I believe it is currently still full autopop, as they’ve fixed problems with it.

For Jedi Fallen Order, you have to meditate to unlock the majority of the trophy after syncing save file. Then there is 5 trophies left which is easily farmable where you have to kill enemies a certain way.

Can confirm that the Alan Wake tip to leave one collectible of each type for picking up on the PS5 version works. You also can pick up all the nightmare manuscript pages on the Nightmare run, it won’t pop anything. And there are 12 pyramid cans but you only need 5 for the achievement, so if you want to be extra safe just shoot 5 of them.
