Introduction

Before we even get to the rest of the guide, let me point something out; while one person may be typing the words here, this guide is truly a community one. I could list out who figured out what and offered what tip, but someone would be missed from the list (thanks human error). Therefore, this guide is brought to you by everyone on our discord who has been boosting the guide since the game launched.

Welcome to the First Class Trouble trophy guide!
In First Class Trouble, you’ll be up against 5 other players who will need to work together to destroy CAIN. If you’re a Resident, that is. Mixed in your group will be two Personoids who are acting as human players. These Personoids can sabotage, kill, and save CAIN, leaving the Residents to die out in space. Will you be able to decipher which is your friend and which is your foe? Use your detective skills and keep a keen eye out for any mysterious happenings. Vote the Personoids out and the Residents win. Keep any Personoids alive and it’ll be the end for all Residents.

Roadmap

Step 1: Play the Game
Due to how the game is setup, there is no actual Roadmap to follow since the order you get the trophies in will be random, especially if you’re not boosting. Tips for boosting and non-boosting are listed under each task-related trophy, so be sure to read through the guide before starting to make your life a little easier. If you’re not boosting, you’ll need to communicate with your lobby with  to try and get them to do what you need. Sometimes just asking for help with a trophy will be enough, but there are a few apples in the game who will actively kill you for asking, so just be prepared to play a lot of games if you’re going solo. If you’re boosting, all of the trophies will be a LOT easier to get. Even if you only have 1 boosting partner, you can actively kill everyone else, leaving an open game for you and your partner to complete tasks in.

If you’re looking for a boosting group, the link to our Discord is provided down below. We’ve done our best to assign boosting leader roles to players who helped write this guide and are aware of what needs to be done for each trophy.

Autopops: While there are technically no straight autopop trophies from the PS4 to the PS5 stack, there are trophies that will unlock sooner. The trophies that are cumulative ( Silver Free Sandwich When You Get TenSilver Cain is not 1337Gold  Welcome to the Jungle, and Gold IT Specialist) will unlock after you complete one “instance” of the required task.
Silver Free Sandwich When You Get Ten will unlock after winning one match,
Silver Cain is not 1337 will unlock after playing the Personoid’s Quarters level once,
Gold Welcome to the Jungle will unlock after played the Botanical Gardens level once, and
Gold IT Specialist will unlock after repairing one computer.

These are the most time-consuming trophies so while it’s not a straight up auto-pop, it still helps cut down the play time on your second stack by a good deal.

You’ll earn all of the trophies in this step, but I’ve separated them into “Resident Only”, “Personoid Only”, and “Everyone” so you can better determine what you should be doing each game.

Tips and Strategies

Setting up a party in the game can be a little temperamental. The game is cross-console so you can have PS4, PS5, and PC players all playing together. You can have a party of up to 6 people (the previous limit of 4 on PlayStation has been fixed). You’ll need to use the in-game friends list/invite system to get a full party.

When you load into the game, your PS gamer tag will be on the bottom left of the screen followed by a 4-digit number. Before you can invite a friend into the game, you need to add them to your in-game friends list. Hit and go over to “find friends”. Put in their gamer tag (it’s case sensitive) and then their 4-digit number, then press  to search. If your PS text app does that weird “add a space” at the end of what you’re typing, be sure to remove it. When you’ve found your friend, send them a friend request. Your friend will then need to load into the game, hit , then go over to “Pending Requests” and accept the request from there. Once you’re on each other’s in-game friends list, you can use said friends list to invite them into your game. The notification for the game invite will appear in the game as well as in your PS Notifications.

If you’re having trouble getting your friend to show up in the search, invite them into your game through the PS invite system. As long as you have less than 6 players in the party, they should be able to join. Play one game with them (start to finish) and they will now appear in the “Recently Played With” list. You can add them to your Friend’s List from here.

Trophy Guide

All Trophies
Get all trophies.

Earn all of the other trophies in the game to unlock this Platinum.

Welcome Aboard Passenger
Complete Your First Match!

This will unlock naturally so long as you finish one single game. Once the game ends and you’re on the stats menu, the trophy will unlock.

Free Sandwich When You Get Ten Gold
Win Five Matches

There are a few ways to win a match, each depending on if you’re a Resident or a Personoid. If you’re a Resident, you’ll either need to kill all of the Personoids or defeat CAIN in the 3rd level. To defeat CAIN, there must be no Personoids alive at the end when all active players interact with the CAIN console. If you’re a Personoid, you’ll either need to kill all of the Residents or save CAIN in the 3rd level. To save CAIN, at least one Personoid must be alive at the end when all active players interact with the CAIN console.

To kill a player, you’ll either need to co-op a kill (one player holds the unfortunately doomed player while the other chokes them out), or use a level hazard (fire, electricity, pools, demon plants, chandeliers, etc). The Personoids are also able to use the Syringe which will kill a player immediately when it’s used against them.

As the trophy states, you need to win a total of 5 matches. If you’re not boosting the trophy, this may take a few extra to get naturally as you’re up to the mercy of the random players you get matched with. If you are boosting, this will of course be much easier as you can set the game up to guarantee yourself a win.

Public Enemy Gold
Get Everyone in a Full Match To Distrust You

At any point while playing the game, you’ll need to get all of the players to “downvote” you. To vote on a player, hit and give them a yellow arrow to turn them to a “suspected” status. You need the other 5 players to all vote for you (you will see a “5” next to the yellow arrow by your name). Only players that are living can up/down vote, so this will need to be done before any gets killed/disconnects. Once the game ends and if you have 5 “suspected” votes, the trophy will unlock.

If you’re not boosting the game, you’ll need to talk with your lobby by pressing  and try to convince them to vote for you. This will of course be a bit hit or miss based on how cooperative the other players are, so you might need to make a few attempts before it happens. If you’re boosting, this will of course be much easier since you can just ask the other players to vote accordingly.

Goodie Two-Shoes Gold
Get Everyone in a Full Lobby To Trust You

At any point while playing the game, you’ll need to get all of the players to “upvote” you. To vote on a player, hit and give them a green arrow to turn them to a “trusted” status. You need the other 5 players to all vote for you (you will see a “5” next to the green arrow by your name). Only players that are living can up/down vote, so this will need to be done before any gets killed/disconnects. Once the game ends and if you have 5 “trusted” votes, the trophy will unlock.

Dancing With the Stars Gold
Dance with at least 2 Players near the Jukebox

Jukeboxes can be found throughout the game, but the easiest locations are the “loading” lobby and the 1st level (it’ll always be the same level). In the loading lobby (the lobby where you wait for the countdown to start the game), the Jukebox is in the back left (opposite side of the stage). If you’re doing this in the 1st level, the Jukebox will also be in the back left corner (opposite side of the elevator). You need a minimum of 3 players to stand near the Jukebox and press  to dance. Try not to stand too close to each other since that’s also the “grab” button and if you’re too close to someone, you’ll hold them instead of dancing. When at least 3 players, including yourself, are all dancing, the trophy will unlock.

If you’re not boosting this, you can use  to talk to your lobby and kindly ask 2 players to help you. Whether they do or not will depend on how cooperative they are (of course), so this might take a few attempts to do. Boosting this trophy will of course make it much easier to earn since your party is there to get trophies.

You’re Just Being Dramatic Gold
Enjoy the beverage cart.

Glitched

The easiest Beverage Cart to find will be in the first stage (not the one in the loading lobby where the countdown timer starts). Just by the staircase on the bottom floor will be a drink cart with a lot of green bottles. You need to interact with the cart by holding  to pick up and drink a bottle. Or two. Or three. Or as many as your poor liver can possibly handle. There have been reports of this trophy unlocking anywhere between drinking 4-8 bottles, but be prepared to drink more than that. Make sure you’re waiting a second or two between bottles so the game fully registers that you have enjoyed each one. If you get motion sickness easily, also be prepared to hold your breath for a few. The more you drink, the more erratic and wavy your screen will become and your character will struggle hard to walk in a straight line. It can become quite nauseating pretty fast. Just keep going and once the game has decided that you’ve had enough, the trophy will unlock.

Phantom of the Opera Gold
Kill 4 players with one Chandelier

Personoid only trophy.

This can be done on the 2nd Stage if you get the Casino level (the 2nd Stage will be random). On the bottom floor of this level (around where the playing tables are), you’ll see a handful of large chandeliers. On one of the walls will be a panel that only the Personoid can interact with (it’ll actually look like the personnel card panel found in the other levels that only the Residents can interact with, but will also have a button on it).

Chandy

Near the panel will be a Chandelier that is tied to it. This will be marked by two white “down” arrows (as shown in the image above). When you interact with the panel, the Chandelier will come crashing down. You need four players to be underneath it so that when it does fall, it kills them.

If you’re not boosting this, it will incredibly difficult to get all of the players together. Your best bet is to try and lure everyone together or simply ask them over the group chat () if they can help with the trophy. Out of all of the trophies on the list, this will be the most difficult to do solo, so it’s highly recommended you try and boost it. If you’re boosting, any player can hit the button so just have at least 4 players stand underneath the marked Chandelier and let it rip. Once the 4 players are killed, the trophy will unlock.

Don’t trust thy neighbor Gold
As Personoid, win by saving CAIN

Personoid only trophy.

As mentioned in Bronze Free Sandwich When You Get Ten, you save CAIN by being alive in the 3rd/final stage of the game. In the 3rd stage, all players will need to interact with a console to end the game. If at least one Personoid is still alive, CAIN will be saved and the Personoids will win the game.

If you’re not boosting, you’ll need to be careful with how you play the game so you don’t get voted out. Your best shot and doing this will be to simply play the game as if you were a Resident. Don’t sabotage anything and don’t pick up any syringes. Basically, don’t make anyone suspicious of you. Interact with the console at the end and because you as a Personoid are still alive, you’ll save CAIN. As with every other trophy, this will of course be even easier if you decide to boost as you can make sure the Personoids are still alive at the end.

I’m doing my part Gold
Hand in all three keycards in a single area

This can be done in the 1st level or 3 of the random 2nd levels (Casino, Botanical Garden, and the Restaurant). In these levels, there are 3 keycards you need to find and turn in to the elevator. For the trophy, you need to be the one to turn in all 3 on either of these levels. You can only carry one at a time, so you’ll need to do a bit of back and forth to get them.

If you’re not boosting, you’ll need to be really quick with picking these up. If another player grabs one, you need to kill them before they turn it in, otherwise you’ll be locked out of the trophy. If you can find one other person to boost with you, the two of you can actively kill everyone else in the lobby to ensure that you are able to turn them all in (the two of you can just stand by the elevator and wait for the others to bring the cards to you). Some keycard locations are behind doors that require 2 people to open so try to not go on too much of a murder spree so you can make sure you can still find them all. This trophy of course will be easier if you boost. You can have all the active players looking for the cards, then just call out when they find one.

Once you’ve turned in all 3, the trophy will unlock either in the elevator or when the voting sequence in the next level starts (it varies for each person).

I’ll take my chances in space Gold
Take the escape pod as the last resident alive

Resident only trophy.

The escape pods can only be found in the 2nd and 3rd stage. They will always be in a “corner” and have glowing red lights in a hallway leading to the room they’re found in. Each level will have 3 escape pods, but you’ll only need 1 for this trophy. When you’re the last Resident alive, you need to quickly make your way to the escape pods, interact with one, complete the minigame, and leave the ship. Out of all of the minigames, this one by far takes the longest, so try and give yourself enough time to do it, especially if the oxygen level is getting low.

If you’re not boosting this, you’ll need a bit of luck and brains to get it done. Try and pay attention to what everyone is doing (as much as you can, at least) and do your best to decipher who the Personoids are, but don’t vote them out right away (you will need at least one still alive). When you are sure that all of the other Residents have met their demise, make your way to the escape pods and exit the ship. If you’re boosting this, it will of course be much easier. Your boosting party will be able to communicate with each other the status of how many Residents/Personoids are still left, ensuring that you’ll get the trophy if you’re the last Resident alive.

Taking the escape pod will cause the game to end since only the Personoids will be alive. The trophy will unlock when you reach the “stats” screen.

It’s time for your medicine Gold
Kill all the Residents with an Overdose Syringe

Personoid only trophy.

You will need to find a total of four syringes as a Personoid to get this trophy. Do note that only one Personoid can be doing the killing for this one. If the other Personoid takes out even one Resident, you’ll need to try again.

As a Personoid, you can use your scanner by pressing . This will highlight all of the Residents, syringes, and items that you can sabotage. The syringes will also show up as small “gun-like” icons in the game itself. You can only carry one of these at a time, so you need to pick them up and kill as quickly as possible. There is only one syringe in Level 1(and it will not always spawn) , at least two in Level 2(We have seen only 1 syringe spawn in the Casino level essentially making it impossible to get the trophy if you get Casino map), and at least one in Level 3. There will always be more than 4 available in each match, so it’s just a matter of finding and using them.

If you’re not boosting, you’ll need to be incredibly careful. If a Resident catches you grabbing a syringe (or even killing another Resident), there’s a high chance you’ll be voted out at the start of the next level (if they don’t try to kill you first). Talk with the players in your lobby with  and try to “lure” them into small rooms or around corners where you have some cover to do the deed. You want to have at least 3 down before you finish Level 2, then take out the final one in Level 3. This will undoubtedly take a few tries to do, but just keep working at it and you’ll find a method that works for you.

If you are boosting, this will be a much easier task since you can just grab each syringe you see in each level and use them. Just make sure the other players are working on keeping the oxygen level up so you have time to find the syringes and the players.

When the last Resident is down, the game will end and the Personoids will win. The trophy will unlock on the “stats” screen.

Well at least I tried Gold
Use a scanner on a Personoid and get killed within 20 seconds

The scanner can randomly be found in Stage 2, but will always be available in Stage 3. It looks like one of the “Shortcut Keys” that you can find throughout the game and will be located in the airlock. You’ll need a second player to hold the airlock open so you can grab it and leave. If you managed to have found the magnetic shoes, the airlock won’t kill you, but it’s better to leave anyways.

scanner

Any player can get this trophy so long as one Personoid is still alive. Pick up the scanner and scan a Personoid, then get yourself killed within 20 seconds. If you’re not boosting, you can just jump off one of the platforms (you’ll die if you fall off). If you’re boosting, you can get killed by the Personoid or Residents with either a syringe or a co-op kill. When done properly, the trophy will unlock as soon as you are killed.

If you scan a Personoid and then kill both them and yourself, you can get this trophy and Silver It’s a Machine done in one go.

I promise I’m just changing the air filter Gold
Sabotage 3 Oxygen Generators in a single game

Personoid only trophy.

The Oxygen Generators are NOT the Oxygen Stations where you turn in the Oxygen Capsules. The Generators are the large white boxes on the walls that are blowing out air.

Oxy

As a Resident, you and another player can repair these. As a Personoid, you and another player can repair these OR you can sabotage it by yourself. There are more than 3 Generators in the game and you can see them if you use your scanner (). You need to sabotage them before the Residents repair them.

There are 2 available in the 1st level, both on the 2nd floor. They’ll be in the common rooms (with the bar) after you leave the “bedroom”. There will be at least 2 available in Level 2, no matter which random level you get, so just be sure to use your scanner to find them before the Residents fix them.

If you’re not boosting this, you need to be extra careful to not get caught sabotaging until you’ve done the 3rd one. If you get caught, there’s a really good chance you’ll get voted out or even killed before you can finish. You can use the Personoid chat (right on the D-pad) to speak with the other Personoid and let them know what you’re doing so they can possibly help locate them and keep the area clear for you. If you are boosting, you just need to make sure the other players are all keeping the oxygen levels up. When a Generator is sabotaged, the oxygen level will take a pretty decent hit and if it gets too low, you run the risk of not having enough time to complete the task.

Once the game ends, the trophy will unlock on the stats screen (some have noted it unlocks right after you sabotage the 3rd, but if it doesn’t, it will when the game ends).

Welcome to the jungle Gold
Play the Botanical Gardens level 10 times

The Botanical Gardens is one of the random levels that will appear for Stage 2. It is very, very, unlikely that you’ll get this level 10 times in a row, so you’ll need to play well more than 10 matches to get this trophy. The Botanical Gardens looks like a large greenhouse, so it’s hard to miss. You’ll know when you’re about to load into it during the loading screen going into Stage 2. On the lower right, it tells you which level you’re loading into.

You do not have to be alive for the matches to count. If you met your demise in Stage 1, don’t exit out of the match and just wait for it to finish. As long as you’re “active”, even as Roomba, it’ll count.

It’s a machine Gold
Use a scanner on a player, causing their death to occur within the next 20 seconds

The scanner can randomly be found in Stage 2, but will always be available in Stage 3. It looks like one of the “Shortcut Keys” that you can find throughout the game and will be located in the Airlock. You’ll need a second player to hold the Airlock open so you can grab it and leave. If you managed to have found the magnetic shoes, the airlock won’t kill you, but it’s better to leave anyways.

scanner

Any player can get this trophy so long as at least one Personoid and one Resident are still alive. Pick up the scanner and scan any player, then get them killed within 20 seconds. If you’re not boosting, you can get them killed by the Personoid or Residents with either a syringe or a co-op kill. Alternatively, if they’re close to a ledge on one of the platforms, you can just push them off. When done properly, the trophy will unlock as soon as you are killed.

If you scan a Personoid and then kill both them and yourself, you can get this trophy and Silver Well at least I tried in one go. Please see that trophy for a video reference should you need one.

Cain is not 1337 Gold
Play the Personoid Quarters level 10 times

The Personoid Quarters is one of the random levels that will appear for Stage 2. It is very, very, unlikely that you’ll get this level 10 times in a row, so you’ll need to play well more than 10 matches to get this trophy. The Personoid Quarters is the stage full of computers and generators (and a concerning amount of fire).

IT Specialist Gold
Repair 50 computers in the Personoid Quarters level

Glitched

The Personoid Quarters is one of the random levels that will appear for Stage 2. The stage is full of computers and generators that you need to repair to activate the elevator. There are at least 20 computers that you can repair here, but depending on if you’re boosting or not, you’ll more than likely need to play this level a handful of times to actually reach 50. The broken computers will be sparking and will have a red light on them.

cp

To repair them, hold  when next to the them and complete the short minigame. There will always be a good amount of computers that are stuck behind fire and doors that require more than one person to open, so do your best to work with your team to reach these. If you run into any plasma/blue fire, this requires 2 players to use fire extinguishers to put it out.

If you’re boosting this, it will be one of the easier trophies you can get since you can farm all 50 in one game. When a Resident repairs a computer, a Personoid can come around and break it again. Make sure you have a few players on oxygen duty to give yourself ample time, but you can keep breaking/repairing the same computer 50 times. Alternatively, if you’re playing as a Personoid, you can just keep sabotaging and repairing the same computer over and over again.

Once you’ve repaired your 50th computer, the trophy will unlock. This is the only trophy that appears to be affected by game crashes and, more painfully, a game save corruption error. Your progress for each trophy is supposed to be tied to the game’s servers, and it does seem like this is the case for all of the trophies except for this one. If you get a save file corruption error, there’s a small chance that your progress towards this trophy will reset, requiring you to do more than 50. For that reason, it’s beyond recommended that you try to get another player to boost the trophy with so you can get as many (if not all) of the repairs done in one go.
