Introduction

Welcome to the FIFA 22 trophy guide!
As of with older FIFA titles, some of the trophies might become unobtainable, since EA have a tendency to do so. In earlier FIFA games, I have experienced that they closed the FUT Championship.

Roadmap

Step 1: Familiarize yourself with the game controls
The first step would be to familiarize yourself with the game controls/mechanics. Here, it is recommended that you play through the skill games and learn the game mechanics.

Step 2: Complete manager and player career
The next step would be to complete the manager and player career. All the trophies in this section are offline. If you are in a hurry, you can do this step later. Thus, it is recommended to get it out the way early, so you then can focus on FUT Ultimate team.

Step 3: Volta + Pro Clubs
For this step, you will have to go through all of the Volta and Pro Club related trophies. Some of the Volta related trophies are offline, while the Pro Club trophies only are online. You’ll be earning these trophies.

Step 4: FUT, Ultimate Team
For this step, you will be completing Ultimate Team. As mentioned earlier, the trophy Point to Prove might become unobtainable over time, since EA has a tendency to close the Championship after about a year from the game release.

Step 5: Clean-up
The last step is clean-up. If you have not got any of these trophies during your playthrough then most can easily be earned in Quickplay Modes → Kick Off with a second controller or in Online friendlies with a friend. Note that  Winner Stays can only be done in Kick Off and European Glory can be done both in Kick Off and in Tournaments.

Trophy Hunter Unlock all other trophies (excluding additional content trophies)

This trophy will unlock when you have finished the 5 steps mentioned above.

Volta’s best Reach 90 OVR with your Avatar in VOLTA FOOTBALL

If you choose attacker as your position and only equip the attacker traits then it will take a total of 54 skill points.

One method that I found effective for getting skill points, is to enter a Volta Battles match, score 5 own goals and repeat. If you use this method, then it will take you about 30 matches to get 54 skill points. It does not matter if you win or lose, you will earn the same amount of skill points.

Teamwork works Win a VOLTA SQUADS match with 3 friends

For this trophy, you do not need to be friends with any of your teammates. You can play with a team of only randoms. Play a Volta Squads match with 3 randoms or friends on your team.

The matchmaking in Volta is really broken, so if you are in a team of 4 friends then for some reason it will not let you matchup with a team of 4 randoms.

Fresh Fit Change an item in the “Outfits” tab

Customize your character. Either open the “change outfit” or “edit avatar” menu. HUB → Customize → Change outfit or Edit avatar → Go ahead and change your outfit or appearance.

Full wardrobe Unlock 50 different vanity items

There are 3 ways that you can unlock a vanity item, you can get them from (1) the different levels in the season, (2) objectives, or (3) you can buy them in the Volta Store.

The cheapest item that you can unlock in the Volta Store is 400 volta coins – the classic shoes. Remember to only buy the once that says “unlock with … volta coins. For example, unlock with 400 volta coins.

Shop till you drop Purchase an item in the VOLTA Store

You will automatically get this when going for  Full wardrobe.

Enter Volta and go to the store from the HUB. Another way to enter the store is from Customize → Change outfit → Select a character → Go down to Store (second option from the bottom left).

On the way up Reach Level 7 in a VOLTA Season

You will unlock this when you reach level 7 in the season. You can earn xp by playing the 3 different volta modes or by completing the weekly objectives. I found it the easiest to play Volta Battles and complete weekly objectives. I got to level 7 when I completed the last weekly challenge, so it should not take that long.

Dead-ball specialist Score a goal from a Free Kick

If you have not got this trophy when completing the other trophies, then this can easily be done with a second controller or a friend. Go to Quickplay Modes and choose Kick Off (if you have a second controller) or Online Friendlies if you are playing with your friend. Make the second controller/friend commit a foul, then make them move the wall and keeper out of the way. For moving the wall use or and for moving the keeper use . Make sure you aim directly at the goal. The trophy will unlock as soon as the ball hits the net.

If you are trying to get this by playing against the AI, they will not be aggressive enough to commit a foul if the difficulty is lower than semi-pro. Also, you can practice your free kick taking by replaying the Skill Games in Set Pieces.

Intuition and Execution Win a penalty shoot-out without missing

This can easily be done with a second controller or a friend. Go to Quickplay Modes and choose Kick Off (if you have a second controller) or Online Friendlies if you are playing with your friend. Play the match and make sure that it ends in a draw, then choose penalty shoot-out. Make sure that you shoot in the opposite direction of where the goalkeeper is.

Training Addict Complete all Main Menu Skill Games

The skill games can be accessed through Play → Quickplay Modes → Skill Games. Simply complete all of the Skill Games. You will need to get the grade D as a minimum. There are a total of 9 categories with a range of 5 to 10 Skill Games each.

Try to change your player to a higher rated player, if you have some trouble with completing some of the Skill Games.

Clinical finish Score a goal from a cross when using Player Lock

Press  + to activate the player lock. Activate the player lock while running with the ball towards the opponents corner, move the in the direction of the player that has to score, call for the ball on and then score (score from the cross). Might take a few tries before you score.

Bring it on Play a single player match with the Competitive Master Switch turned On

For this trophy, you will have to change your Controller Settings to have Competitive Master Switch ON before you start the match. If you want to get this trophy done fast, go to Quickplay Modes → Kick Off → Volta Football → Volta House Rules → First to … and choose first to 1.

Squad Building Curriculum Complete 10 Squad Building Challenges in FIFA Ultimate Team

When starting the Squad Building Challenges, there will be 3 starting challenges in “let’s get started”, you will have to complete them first before you can start the other Squad Building Challenges. Hereafter, you can complete any Squad Building Challenge that you would like. I completed the gold upgrade 7 times, since I found that one easy to do while being useful.

Define the Meta Create your own custom tactic in FIFA Ultimate Team

Go to Squad → Press  for Squad Actions → Custom Tactics → Change whatever tactics you would like → Press to save the changes.

My House, My Rules Play a game using any House Rule in FUT Friendlies

Can be done in all 3 friendlies (couch play, play online or play a friend), just pick a house rule game mode (mystery ball, king of the hill, max chemistry, swaps, no rules, long range, headers & volleys, or survival). The easiest method is to start a couch play match against the AI, pick either mystery ball or max chemistry. Score a couple of goals, and then you can be afk for the rest of the match. The game will not kick you for idle.

Bus Parking Simulator Keep 10 clean sheets in FUT Squad Battles

This trophy would most likely come natural when going for the other Ultimate Team trophies. If not, start a Squad Battle game on the lowest difficulty (Beginner) and simply do not let the opponent score. Do this 10 times and the trophy will unlock.

Club Icon Reach 200 club appearances with a player in FIFA Ultimate Team

For this trophy, you will have to play 200 matches with one player. Friendlies Couch Play does not count. You can keep track under the Club HUB → Player States → Sort by Played.

If you have a friend that already has a player with 200 club appearances, simply play a co-op game with your friend as their team. Remember to make sure that the player with the 200 club appearances is playing.

Point to Prove Earn enough FUT Champions Qualification Points to qualify for FUT Champions Play-Offs

You will need to earn 1250 points to unlock this trophy. You can earn the Champions points by playing Division Rivals or by completing the weekly Rival reward. The higher the division the more points you will earn.

Be My Guest Win a Co-Op game in Online Friendlies Public Matchmaking in FIFA Ultimate Team

Go to Friendlies → Play Online → Public co-op match. Here, you will be playing co-op with a random player. Make sure to win. It does not matter if the opponent forfeit, as long as you are leading.

Friends for Life Win 10 Co-Op games with online friends in FUT Squad Battles or FUT Division Rivals

You can invite friends by pressing in the HUB. If you have a hard time winning, then play Squad Battles on the lowest difficulty.

Winning Mentality Gain a winstreak in FUT Division Rivals

“Glitched”

This trophy is glitched for some people but not in a super bad way. The trophy requires you to get a win streak in Division Rivals, which you can get by winning twice but for some reason the trophy only unlocks after the third match is played. For me it unlocked on the third win of my winning streak. 

If you want to boost this trophy, you will need 2 consoles, 3 controllers, and 3 alt accounts (depending on how many times you need to win). One console will be your main account, while the other console will switch between the alts. Use both consoles to search a Division Rivals match at the same time. When you find an opponent then use the extra controller to check if you have found your alt. Play the game and make sure your main account wins. Once your main account has played against one of your alts (e.g. alt 1) then your main account can not play against the same alt (alt 1) again. Repeat this 3 times and the trophy will unlock. This method only works if you are in division 10 or 9.

True Grit Reach Milestone 1 in a FUT Division Rivals Season

For this trophy to unlock, you will need to play 20 Division Rivals matches in one season. It does not matter if you win or lose.

Design and Conquer Win 1 Division Rivals match with 4 different Pitch Trophies equipped in your FUT Stadium

You will get a total of 4 pitch trophies when completing “Best Seats in the House”. Since, you will get the fourth pitch trophy for scoring a bicycle kick, which you have to do for the stadium challenges.

From here you will have to win one Division Rivals game while in your own stadium and having the 4 different pitch trophies equipped.

Best Seats in the House Equip a customization item in each of the Stands customization slots of the Tier 3 FUT Stadium

When you have completed all the Stadium challenges, then equip an item on all of the Stands customization slots beside the slot called VIP Area. 

You can find the challenges under Objectives → Milestones, all the way in the bottom (Stadium Development 1, 2 and 3).

	Unlock VIP Trophies	Score a goal from a Bicycle Kick in Squad Battles on min. World Class difficulty (or Rivals).

The assist with a Back Heel Pass and goal from a Bicycle Kick will probably be the hardest once to get. The Back Heel Pass can be done by any player but is easiest done with a player that has the Flair trait. For the Bicycle Kick, the easiest way is to cross the ball backwards into box with + , then shoot with + . The player shooting needs to have their back facing the goal + some space in order to pull off the Bicycle Kick. I found that the Bicycle Kick is not skill limited, meaning that I could get a 78 rated player to perform a Bicycle Kick. 

Here are some players that I know can perform a Bicycle Kick: Lukaku 88 OVR, Werner 84 OVR, Maddison 82 OVR, and Sissoko 78 OVR.

Tactical Mastermind Unlock all the traits within a skill-tree in Pro Clubs

For this trophy, you will need to reach level 7 with your Pro, since you need 27 skill points to get this trophy. Equip all the attributes on Pace and the trophy will unlock.

Dream Debut Complete and win your first Pro Club Seasons league match

Join a club and win a league match. You will need to win the match, since the trophy description says “complete and win”, therefore it is also recommended that the opponent do not forfeit.

This trophy can be boosted. You will need a total of 4 consoles or friends, 2 on each newly created club. Then search for a league match at the same time. Remember not to forfeit.

Our Club, Our Rules Play and Complete a Cup House Rules Match in Pro Clubs

Join a club and play a Cup match. You do not need to win it but the match needs to be completed, meaning that the opponent cannot forfeit.

This trophy can be boosted. You will need a total of 4 consoles or friends, 2 on each club. Then search for a Cup match at the same time.

Maestro Unlock a Speciality in Pro Clubs

You can unlock your first speciality when you reach level 3 and have 16 points. It can either be Bull Archetype under Physical or Lynx Archetype under Dribbling. It is recommended that you focus on Tactical Mastermind first, since this trophy will unlock when going for Tactical Mastermind.

Trust the process Jump into a Sim match in Career Mode and win it.

When you have started a Manager Career, simply sim the game (not quick sim) and then job in the game by whenever you feel like it. Make sure you win the game. To make this trophy easier, it is recommended that you change the difficulty to Beginner.

Total Football Successfully convert a player to a new position in Career Mode.

From the Manager Career Hub, go to the Squad Hub → Select a player from the starting 11 by pressing → Select Development Plan → Switch menus by pressing or → Select whatever position you want your player to convert to. In my case, I changed a CAM to a RM. Make sure that your player is happy in the club. From here, sim a couple of matches until your player is ready to convert. You will get a message in your inbox when your player is ready. Click the message and go back to the Development screen → Select the player and press to change their position.

Favorite One Achieve Top Manager Rating Values with your current player

When playing Player Career: You will automatically get this when going for Objective Driven and True Challenge. Keep completing match objectives and training sessions. The trophy will unlock when the manager bar is full.

Objective Driven Complete a total of 30 objectives across all matches

Start a Player Career. It will take at least 10 matches to obtain this trophy, since there are only 3 objectives per match. Play a match in Player Career and focus on completing the 3 objectives that are given to you by your coach.

Newcomers Play a season with a newly Created Club

Create a new Manager Career by selecting Create Your Club. In order to make it easier to earn the other Manager trophies, it is recommended that you select a league with low rated teams, set the Overall Rating on 5 stars, Squad Age on very young, match difficulty on Beginner and Half Length on 4 minutes.   

Go to the Season Hub → Select calendar and skip until the end of the season. When you see the text End Season in the Central Hub, the trophy should unlock.

Maxed Out Reach Level 25 in the Player Career

Start a Player Career, it has to be with Create Your Pro. It is recommended that you go for all the other Player Career trophies first. When I was done with all the other Player Career trophies, I was only at level 9. From here it took me 1.5 seasons to get to level 25. I found the fastest way to change between (1) playing the first 20 minutes in order to complete the 3 objectives and then Request A Sub, and (2) Quick Sim the matches. When playing, make sure that your team will win by e.g., scoring 3 goals. Remember to change the difficulty to Beginner. In addition, it is important that you simulate or play the training every 7 days. Choose the training that gives the most xp and play them once in order to get the grade A. After that, you can simply simulate the same drill and you will automatically get an A.

True Challenge Complete 10 enhanced objectives across all matches

Play a match in Player Career, it has to be with Create Your Pro. Simply choose to enhance the easiest of the 3 objectives that are given to you in the beginning of the match, by pressing on the objective. Make sure to complete the enhanced requirements. You will have to play at least 10 matches in order to unlock this trophy.

European Glory Win the UEFA Champions League Final

There are 2 ways in which this trophy can be unlocked.

(1) Go to Play → Quickplay Modes → Kick Off → UEFA Champions League → UCL Final.  It is recommended that you choose a high rated team and play against a low rated team, so you have a better chance of winning. Play the match and the trophy will unlock when you win. In order to make this faster you can change the match settings to Half Length 4 minutes, Game Speed to fast and difficulty to Beginner.

(2) Go to Play → Quickplay Modes → Tournaments → UEFA Champions League. It is recommended that you choose a high rated team, so you have a better chance of winning. I picked PSG. Play or sim the matches, just make sure you get to the round of 16 and only win from there. You can save underway so you do not have to start from scratch if you get knocked out. For the final match, remember to jump in before the match is over, if you do not then the trophy will not unlock.

Winner Stays Play 5 H2H matches with a friend in Kick Off

Go to Play → Quickplay Modes → Kick Off and play 5 matches with a second controller or through Share Play with a friend (if you do not have a second controller). The fastest mode is Volta 3v3 first to 1, meaning you only have to score one goal. Remember to press rematch when the match ended, so you do not have to set it up again.

Passion Play a women’s International football match

Go to Play → Quickplay Modes → Kick Off and select the women’s International football teams → Play the match, it does not matter if you win or lose.

Trophies that basically autopops

Volta’s best
Autopop as soon as you enter Volta.

Full wardrobe
Just buy or earn one more vanity item.

On the way up
Will unlock if you are still in level 7 of the Volta season. If not unlocked when entering Volta, just play one more match.

Squad Building Curriculum
Complete one more Squad Building Challenge and the trophy will unlock.

Bus Parking Simulator
Play one Squad Battle match where you keep a clean sheet and the trophy will unlock.

Club Icon
If you have a player with 200 club appearances, then play one match with that player and the trophy will unlock.

Point to Prove
If you have not used your points yet (you still have 1250 points for qualification), then play a Division Rivals match and the trophy will unlock.

Friends for Life
Play one more co-op match and the trophy will unlock.

Winning Mentality
If you switch to the ps4 or 5 after getting the trophy on one of the consoles (you still have your streak), then just play a game of Division Rivals and the trophy will unlock.

True Grit
If you have reached a milestone in a season on the ps4, simply play a match on the ps5 and the trophy will unlock.

Best Seats in the House
Equip an item on all of the Stands customization slots beside the slot called VIP Area and the trophy will unlock.
