Introduction

Welcome to the Splash Cars trophy guide!
From publisher EastAsiaSoft and developer Paper Bunker.
Splash Cars is a driving game where you will try to turn a gray world to color while avoiding the police.

Roadmap

Step 1: Play 15 levels
Just play through the first 15 levels, not including the tutorial level.
You can complete a level by pausing and quitting but unfortunately you will earn zero stars and you need at least one to go to the next (varies by level).

You’ll be earning these trophies:
Silver Level Master I
Silver Level Master II
Gold Level Master III

Step 2: Get 3 stars on 8 levels
You will be working on this at the same time as step 1.  In order to get 3 stars on a level you need to paints a certain percentage of the map.  The percentage can range from about 60% to 90% so try to get 3 stars on all levels with the lower percentage.   If you are having trouble you can claim some upgrades and get a better car.

During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
Silver Star Gazer I
Silver Star Gazer II
Gold Star Gazer III

Step 3: Finish up any remaining trophies
You should have most the trophies already just by playing steps 1 and 2; the only one you might be missing is Coin Hunter III for collecting 20,000 coins.  Most everything else will come just by playing.

During this step you’ll earn the following trophies:
Silver Coin Hunter I
Silver Coin Hunter II
Gold Coin Hunter III
Silver Speedy Collector I
Silver Speedy Collector II
Gold Speedy Collector III
Silver Miles Traveler I
Silver Miles Traveler II
Gold Miles Traveler III
Gold Car Owner I
Gold Car Owner II
Gold Car Owner III
40-platinum Color Speedster

Tips and Strategies

You will be driving around trying to paint the map and in order to get three stars you will need cover a certain percentage of the map.  Try to get to the upgrades as soon as you see them because they disappear pretty fast.  If you are still having trouble getting three stars on a level skip it for now and come back when you have bought a better car with more gas.  Try to minimize the things you crash into because when the car is heavily damaged it will drive slower and you will not be able to cover as much as the map.  Sometimes you will see another truck turning the color back to gray but you can bump into it to make it turn the map into color.

Trophy Guide

Color Speedster
Unlock all other trophies.

Like all other platinum trophies, collect every other trophy to get this one.

Level Master I Gold
Finish level 5.

See Gold Level Master III.

Level Master II Gold
Finish level 10.

See Gold Level Master III.

Level Master III Gold
Finish level 15.

You will complete a level when you run out of gas no matter how much of the map you have painted; it does not matter.  Additionally, quitting out of a level will also count as completing it but you will not unlock the next level doing this.  Once you get to the 15th level you can quit it for a quick completion.

Coin Hunter I Gold
Collect a total of 1,000 coins.

See Gold Coin Hunter III.

Coin Hunter II Gold
Collect a total of 10,000 coins.

See Gold Coin Hunter III.

Coin Hunter III Gold
Collect a total of 20,000 coins.

20,000 seems like a lot but you will probably get this trophy around level 13 or 14.  The coins on map will usually give you between 10 and 20 coins each so you will not need to pick up as many as it seems.

Speedy Collector I Gold
Collect 6 power ups with your car.

See Gold Speedy Collector III.

Speedy Collector II Gold
Collect 18 power ups with your car.

See Gold Speedy Collector III.

Speedy Collector III Gold
Collect 48 power ups with your car.

There are a number of powerups you can collect on each level some of which include a magnet to collect coins and gas easier, turbo which allows you to drive faster, super which will turn the car into a tank or a faster car, invisibility and a powerup that allows you to drive a police car. Try to collect them as soon as you see them because they disappear pretty fast.

Miles Traveler I Gold
Reach 10,000 miles.

See Gold Miles Traveler III.

Miles Traveler II Gold
Reach 50,000 miles.

See Gold Miles Traveler III.

Miles Traveler III Gold
Reach 100,000 miles.

Driving for 100,000 miles seems like a lot but its actually not.  I remember unlocking Miles Traveler II by level 2 and this one by level 4.

Star Gazer I Gold
Reach a 3-star rating.

See Gold Star Gazer III.

Star Gazer II Gold
Reach four 3-star ratings.

See Gold Star Gazer III.

Star Gazer III Gold
Reach eight 3-star ratings.

As previously mentioned 3 stars are earned by covering a certain amount of the map.  If you run out of gas before you meet the requirement the game will offer you one refill and one repair to your car but if you run out of gas again you will have to start over.  Sometimes it will be hard to 3 star a level so come back once you have a car with more fuel and more upgrades.  Also getting 3 stars on the tutorial level counts towards this.

Car Owner I Gold
Own the car Bug.

See Gold Car Owner III.

Car Owner II Gold
Own the car Petite.

See Gold Car Owner III.

Car Owner III Gold
Own the car Supremer.

There are two things you will need to buy cars from the shop: coins and Blue B’s.  Once you have enough of both of these things buy the first 3 cars from the shop to unlock these 3 trophies.
