Introduction
Welcome to the Cat President 2: Purrlitical Revolution trophy guide!
From Penguin Pop Games; “In a world where talking cats control the U.S. government, President DJ Nibbles is running for re-election – and you’ve been hired to stop him at all costs. Who cares that you’re a random ride-share driver who didn’t even know an election was happening? That doesn’t mean you can’t run the purrfect campaign!“
Roadmap
Objective: Complete the required character routes, unlock the endings and finish the Bonus route to earn the Platinum trophy.
Best Method: This is a choice-based visual novel with multiple endings, so you will need to make several playthroughs and use save manipulation to avoid replaying the entire game. The most efficient approach is to create a save at the cat selection screen and use it to work through the required routes.
The game features a humorous political storyline in which talking cats control the US government. You’ll take on the role of a campaign manager, making decisions that influence the election and your relationships with the various candidates.
Text Walkthrough
Initial Setup
- Apply your usual visual novel settings.
- Start a new game and make any choices until you reach the cat selection screen.
- Create Save 1 at this point.
Poopsie Route – First Run
Load Save 1, select Poopsie and make the following choices:
1, 1, 1, 1,
2, 2, 1, 1,
1, 2, 1, 1,
1, 1, 1, 1,
1, 1, 1, 2
Poopsie Route – Second Run
- Load Save 1 again.
- Select Poopsie.
- Make the following choices:
2, 2, 2, 2,
1, 1, 2, 2,
2, 1, 2, 2,
2, 2, 2, 2,
2, 2, 2, 1
Other Cats
- Load Save 1.
- Play through the other cat routes, selecting Option 1 for every choice.
Bonus Route
- Select the Bonus option.
- Choose Option 1 for every decision throughout the route.
Final Trophy
- Load Save 1 again or return to the cat selection screen.
- Select Biscuit.
- Choose Option 2 repeatedly until the final trophy unlocks.
Once the final trophy pops, the Platinum is yours!
