Roadmap
Note: The game features Cross-Save functionality from PS4 > PS5. All trophies will auto-pop when you import the PS4 save into the PS5 menu.
Step 1: Activate Checkpoints
Unlike most platformers, the trophies in Solar Machina are tied entirely to activating checkpoints rather than level completion itself. The problem is that there are not enough checkpoints available during a single run through the game to unlock every trophy naturally.
Because of this, you have two options:
- Progress through all the levels normally, then replay earlier stages until you’ve activated enough checkpoints overall.
- Or, if you want the fastest route, repeatedly replay the same level until the remaining trophies unlock.
The gameplay itself is straightforward, with your robot gradually gaining new movement abilities as you progress. Focus on reaching and activating checkpoints consistently, and the platinum will come without much difficulty regardless of which method you choose.
