Introduction
Welcome to the Spooky Cooking trophy guide!
From Heavy Sheep & y-zo studio; “Have a nice Halloween (even if it’s not the season hehe) in a lovely and casual way with a one-button game that tries to bring back the competition of the arcade era. You need to shoot a pumpkin towards to a cauldron while dodging obstacles, a simple mechanic that’s easy to understand, but hard to master, this game can please casual gamers as well as hardcore ones.“
Roadmap
Note: The game features Cross-Save functionality from PS4 > PS5. All trophies will auto-pop when you import the PS4 save into the PS5 menu.
Step 1: Feed the Cauldron
In Spooky Cooking, your goal is to launch pumpkins into the cauldron while avoiding the enemies constantly moving across the screen. The controls are simple, but the timing becomes increasingly important once the pace starts picking up.
The main trophies are tied to reaching a score of 50, as well as scoring 25 points without losing a life. Staying patient and avoiding risky shots early on will make the second requirement much easier.
There are also a few miscellaneous trophies to keep an eye out for during your run:
- Collect either a Star or Speed-Up bonus.
- Launch a pumpkin directly into the flames attached to a bonus.
Focus on controlled shots rather than spamming pumpkins, and try to learn the movement patterns of the enemies crossing the screen. Once you find the rhythm, the required scores become much more manageable.
