Introduction
Welcome to the Gematombe trophy guide!
From Route 5 Games & Ratalaika Games, “Gematombe! the action-puzzle-vs-game inspired on classic arcades and greek mythology! Challenge your friends or follow pandora and the daemones on their adventures. Launch the ball to hit and break consecutive gems of the same color to achieve incredible chain reactions! Overwhelm your opponents to CRUSH them or maximize your chain combos and CLEAR your screen area of gems to win with a GEMATOMBE!“
Roadmap
Step 1: Tutorial & Practice
Start out with the tutorial which will explain how the game works, and what is needed to Clear or Crush. You do not actually play anything here, but it will teach you what is needed.
Once this is done start up the Practice session and another trophy will pop as soon as the match starts. You can now quit out and move on.
You’ll be earning these trophies:
Hero’s path
Endless practice
Step 2: Survival Mode
This is where you actually practice through learning the ropes within Survival Mode. In order to reach the 2nd floor, you will need to win two rounds.
During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
Rolling up the stone
Olympic heavens
Step 3: Arcade Mode
You will need to complete 6 rounds of Arcade Mode in order to finish the story with that character, and in order to obtain the rest of the trophies you will need to do this with each character (6).
Each round will take you 2-3 min (could be quicker if you’re lucky) to obtain one of the winning actions; “Clear”, to clear your board, and “Crush”, when an opponent’s board fills to the bottom.
During this step you’ll earn the following trophies:
The good ending
End of the line
The bitter end
The sad ending
The end?
The bad ending
Punching carat
Platinum Gematombe
Tips and Strategies
Arcade Mode can be played on Easy difficulty prior to starting the first round with each character, and a rematch can be called should you lose any rounds. Be careful if you lose as there is a chance that you will select to return to main menu rather than rematch.
Your intial bounce will remove a single tile with the rebound being a power ball, so your objective is to bounce your ball off of single tiles, and on to 2+ groups of tiles. You will also receive power balls from the first instance on occassions depending on your previous combo.
Allowing the ball to hit the bottom of the board will benefit you on occassions if you only have single tiles remaining, as you will be given a whole fresh block of matching tiles.
Cut scenes can be skipped with , and the credits can be sped up with
