Introduction

Welcome to the Doom 64 trophy walkthrough!
Doom 64 is a first-person shooter game by Midway Games. It was first released for the Nintendo 64 in 1997, as the second spin-off game in the Doom series after Final Doom (1996), and the fourth game in the series overall. A remastered port was developed by Nightdive Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks for Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in March 2020, and for Stadia in May 2020.

Doom 64 was developed from 1994 by Midway Studios San Diego under supervision of id Software, the main developer of the Doom franchise, and was tentatively titled Doom: The Absolution. It has a customized version of the Doom engine, enabling new kinds of level geometry, and dynamic colored lighting. It has new sprite graphics for weapons and monsters.

Roadmap

In this Roadmap, you’ll be using a LOT of the Password Feature which is under Options. There is no A, E, I, O, U in the selection process.

Step 1: Passwords, Passwords, Passwords
Silver Secret Sleuth [50G]
Gold RVNH3CT1CD3M0??? [100G]

These two should be easy and should work off of each other. To start, there is a barrel on the same level you are on. Do NOT!!!, by any means, destroy that barrel as it is needed. The barrels are destroyable barrels and littered throughout the level. There is a video that shows where all the barrels are located along with several secrets. It is preferred to be done on the “Be Gentle!” difficulty.

Silver Unholy Firepower [75G]
Silver My Cause is Just, My Will is Strong [50G]
Bronze Mother May I? [150G]

The Password you are to input is: W83M 7H20 BDY0 N9VB

You’ll be in the last level of the main campaign with all the weapons and max inventory. I would suggest shooting a shot from either Plasme Rifle, BFG9000, or Unmaker to then pick up the BFG9000 and Unmaker. To get to either one of those three, press (R1) or RB and should be the last 3 weapons.

Those pictures are the pickup sprites that will get you “Unholy Firepower” and “My Cause is Just, My Will is Strong”. [From DoomWiki.org/wiki/Unmaker & From Doom.Fandom.com/wiki]

For “Mother May I?”, the method that is best used is from TrueAchievements below –

1. Press R1/RB until you get to the last weapon. This weapon is called the Unmaker.
2. Collect the Invulnerability Orb (The green one on the right)
3. Go to the door and open it by pressing X/A
4. Run to the center. This makes all the enemies spawn. Now you need to stop the enemies as fast as possible so that the boss spawns.
5. Press the 3 switches around the outside (with X/A). Each switch closes the door where the enemies spawned. Some will always get out, but if you do this, you should have some invulnerability left.
6. Run right up to the boss in the centre and keep hitting her until she dies.

(One of the steps have been removed because the boss should spawn)

Silver That was Fun [100G]
Silver Rip and Tear! [100G]

The Password you are to input is one of the following:
XR1M 7HVM BCRZ YJVB (Preffered)
RY48 9BFY 6?JM KBK? (Used in Video)

This level will have 8 mechanical spider brain demons (called Arachnotrons) on 8 pillars. Get rid of them with the Rocket Launcher to make a special demon appear. That is known as Mr. Tall, Dark, and Handsome or Cyberdemon. Pull out the Unmaker and let loose while circling the Cyberdemon to avoid having rockets blowing your face up. After, there will be a few fat missile enemies called Mancubi (sing. Mancubus). Take them out with the Unmaker and the level should be over.

Bronze Escape Artist [125G]

The Password you are to input is: YWW4 7HVD BCLG RKVB

You start out with every weapon and full ammo and on the Watch Me Die! difficulty. It may seem like it shouldn’t be too long but it would be super short, if following the video below.

Bronze Persistence is the Key [125G]

The Password you are to input is: V87L 7C28 BDT1 59VB

To get the unlock, there is a VERY specific timed event between shooting 3 buttons. It can be done multiple times but you have to be quick to shoot the next one.

Bronze Walk the Path [125G]

The Password you are to input is: ?QDM 7HYC BB4X FJVB

You’ll be loaded into Level 1 on Be Gentle! with all weapons and full ammo. Within the Pause Menu, you’ll see a Features option. Select that and choose Warp To Lost – Final Judgement. Complete this level for “Walk the Path” to unlock.
