Introduction
Welcome to the DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace trophy guide!
DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace is a rail-shooter game developed by PHL Collective (The Addams Family: Mansion Mayhem) and published by children’s license publisher Outright Games. Choose to play as Krypto or Ace through fifteen stages of LexBots and bosses – and perhaps rescue a few animals and find them forever homes along the way.
Roadmap
Step 1: Play through the game
Trophy-wise, the platinum is pretty straight-forward and easy. Nothing is missable, but you do need to put a bit of effort in, most notably for the LexBot Lover trophy.

The upgrade menu will unlock once you complete the second stage.
Most of the game’s stages will award you a skill point the first time you clear them, regardless of letter grade. Additionally, whenever you reach a letter level in the adoption center, you will also be awarded a skill point.
The Hero Stats (health and stamina) have four upgrade levels each, while each companion skill has three upgrade levels, meaning you’ll need seventeen upgrade points in total. This means that unless you use save backups to unlock each of the upgrade trophies with a limited amount of skill points, you’ll not only need to clear all levels, but also reach S-rank in the adoption center.
![]() ![]() Achieve a Doggo Rating |
A Doggo Rating is achieved by scoring an A-rank on any stage. In general, you want to keep your combo meter up as often as possible, by blasting enemies or even the large parade float balloons scattered throughout each stage. If you’re having trouble with this trophy during your first playthrough of each level, revisit one when you’ve upgraded your characters. I recommend using Ace over Krypton, as Ace has a bit wider spread to his attacks. You may actually just get this without trying.
![]() ![]() Complete your First Adoption |
In each stage is a capsule with a card you can pick up – these are rescued pets. On the map screen, you can enter the adoption area after each level and either take care of the pets (required to get them adoption-ready) or adopt them out.
The traits you’ll get for each pet/person are random, but the game is simple enough that it’s easy to tell what traits will match well between pet and human. For example, you would want to try to match a pet that “loves eating fish” with an owner who “loves fishing” or “lives on a boat”.
If you match a pet and owner with no traits in common, you’ll get an okay match. One trait will give you a good match. Both traits will give you a perfect match. With each match, the meter at the top of the screen will fill (the amount depends on the type of match) – whenever you reach a new level, you will get a skill point that you can use to upgrade your characters. For this trophy, however, you just need to do one adoption.
![]() ![]() Defeat the SnakeBot |
Story-related and cannot be missed.
The SnakeBot is the game’s first boss. It has three phases:
- Shoot at its tail. Its laser shots can sometimes home on you, so when it’s firing, fly in a circle around the screen to dodge them.
- Very similar to Phase 2, except this time it shoots homing missiles that are better at tracking your position; keep flying in a circle to dodge them.
- The head will charge you, for heavy damage. When it rears back, quickly dodge in the opposite direction.
![]() ![]() Defeat the OctoBot |
The OctoBot is the game’s second boss. It has three phases, which are all similar. For the first two phases, the boss is only vulnerable when it’s firing at you, and only the tentacle that’s firing at you can be damaged. The third phase will see the boss stabbing its tentacles at you, after which it will sit there for a few seconds and kindly let you land shots on it.
![]() ![]() Defeat Lex Luthor |
Story-related and cannot be missed.
Lex Luthor is the final boss of the game. He has three phases, all of which are variations on the same thing: he’ll shoot several rounds of some sort of homing projectiles (fly in a circle around the screen to dodge them) before stopping for a few seconds to allow you to get shots in. After defeating him, you’ll need to do a QTE before he’s defeated for good, so make sure you watch out for that.
![]() ![]() Finish a level with at least 85 percent health |
This is easier than it sounds; you don’t need to keep your health above 85% the entire time, just finish the level above it. Remember that hitting checkpoints and playing the ground minigame (the Superman symbol) all regain health. This is easiest gotten in one of the earlier levels, where the enemies are simpler. If you’re still having trouble, replay one of the earlier levels once you’ve upgraded Ace and Krypto so they have more health, and perhaps use PB’s shield ability whenever possible.
![]() ![]() Finish a level without destroying a LexBot |
This may be the most difficult trophy in the game – in that you’ll likely need a few tries to get it. Do this in the tutorial level, and use Krypto so you can avoid killing enemies during the special power tutorial (Ace’s will auto-target all enemies). Other than that, you’ll need to avoid the ground minigame (avoid the Superman/Batman symbol while flying), never attack, and fly out of the way of any enemies – even running into them will void this trophy. Keep an eye on your score – you will always want it to read 0. Remember that you can hold Circle to slow down – just keep in mind that this depletes your stamina meter.
If you’d rather see a video of the trophy, YouTuber LAG Walkthroughs has done one, with helpful commentary (the actual level run starts at 4:00).
It has also been suggested that a side level (unlocked when the safety meter depletes after having been initially filled) in the second area above Stage 8 is also a good place to unlock this trophy. (Credit: Ryukori)
