Introduction
Welcome to the Mythic Ocean trophy guide!
After waking up without absolutely no memory of who you are, you come face to face with a God of the sea who has been tasked with helping you remember not only who you are, but what your role is. After you start to explore around, you learn that the world around isn’t old, but new, and the reason you can’t remember who you are is because the most recent Creator made it that way. Unfortunately, this world is not long for lasting, and you’ll need to speak with the other Gods and get their advice on how to move forward. When you’ve helped them all and befriend them, you’ll need to decide which God gets to become the new Creator who will create the next new world.
Roadmap
Step 1: Play Through the Game
You’ll be need to complete all 9 Fables in the game before you can complete the game, so your main focus will be to work on those. If you happen to find any Pages or speak with any of the NPC/Creatures along your way, that’s more than fine (just try to remember which ones, of course). The only NPC/Creatures you want to go out of your way to speak with are the ones in the Breach (you enter this after speaking with Gnosis the first time) as you’ll only have one shot to talk to these ones, but even if you miss them, the other areas will get you the 40 required for Ambassador so don’t fret if you do end up missing them. After you finish all of the Fables and choose a Creator for the new world, you’ll complete the game.
You’ll be earning these trophies:
First Chapter
Lockdown Lifted
A New World
Step 2: Clean-up
Now that you have the story out of the game, you can do a quick clean-up of the Pages and NPC/Creatures. Just reload your save file from the Main Menu and it’ll pop you back into the game at the point right before you choose a new Creator. This gives you a sort of free-play mode that you can roam around in. Use your Teleporter () to bounce between each area and reference the individual trophies for the locations of everything you need, including the miscellaneous trophies. Don’t forget that you can use your sonar (
) to locate the NPC/Creatures that you need to meet/interact with. This step shouldn’t take you very long at all.
During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
All Hail Lord Poison
Chasing Whirlpools
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAALLL!!!
Cradle of Stars
Diplomat
Ambassador
Archivist
Loremaster
Mythic Ocean

Story Related.
The Fables in this game are essentially the quests you’ll need to complete before you can decide who the new creator will be. There are 9 Fables total to complete, all of which are required to complete the main story, but only the 1st one you complete will be required for this trophy. In each area, there is a “main character” that you’ll need to speak to (save for Corel Reef which will be a set of Twins). All of the Fables will start with one of these characters. When you pick up a Fable, the next location required for it will be represented by a blinking green light on your Teleporter (). If you are working on multiple at a time, multiple dots will appear, but fair warning that they won’t be labeled. The Fable “chain” will always require you to talk to the main character in the designated location and exhaust the dialogue. If you’re having trouble finding the character in any area because they’ve run off a bit, hold
to activate your sonar and just look for their outline. The list of the Fables are as follows (this is roughly the order you’ll do them in as well):
- Growing Pains – Amar in Kelp Forest
- Rebuilding a Friendship – Esti and Ketri in Coral Reef
- Voice of Wisdom – Esti and Ketri in Coral Reef (after you complete Rebuilding a Friendship)
- New Bug Buddy – Esti and Ketri in Coral Reef (after you complete Growing Pains)
- Labwork – Althea in Midseas
- Study Opportunity – Althea in Midseas
- Feeding Frenzy – Althea in Midseas (After you complete Growing Pains)
- Suspicions – Swivet in the Breach (after you speak with Gnosis the first time, teleport anywhere to enter the Breach – Swivet will be the eel-like fish you need to talk to)
- Mystery Crystal – Esti and Ketri in Coral Reef (after you complete Labwork and Study Opportunity)
![]() ![]() Find out what’s behind that metal gate in the Kelp Forest. |
Story Related.
After you complete the Fables Growing Pains and Rebuilding a Friendship, speak with Amar in Kelp Forest again (they should be by the locked door leading to Midseas). Exhaust the dialogue and the door will open for you. Go through it and the trophy will unlock.
![]() ![]() Witness Lord Poison’s inaugural concert. |
You’ll get this in Coral Reef, but after you’ve met Althea in Midseas and after returning from the Breach after speaking with Gnosis the first time. While in Coral Reef, head down to the large fish skull and tucked in the corner will be Lord Poison (you may have already spoken to him for Diplomat and/or
Ambassador). If he doesn’t have 4 “Poison Fans” in front of him, complete 1-2 more Fables and return until he does. Once his fans are there, speak with Lord Poison and he’ll put on a short rock concert for you. When it’s done, the trophy will unlock.
![]() ![]() Ride 5 whirlpools in the Kelp Forest. |
As stated in the description, this will be done in Kelp Forest. Scattered throughout this area are whirlpools that, when you swim inside of one, will shoot you up above the water’s surface. You can do the same whirlpool 5 times or make it 5 separate ones, it doesn’t matter. You just need to ride any combination of 5 for the trophy. As soon as you’ve ridden your 5th one, the trophy will unlock.
![]() ![]() Knock a beaker or tank out through the bottom of Alethea’s lab. |
This will be one of the more pain in the rump ones to get, not because it’s super difficult, but because the entire game takes place underwater so the floaty mechanics make trying to get this a bit tedious. This will be done in Midseas (this unlocks after you complete the Fables Growing Pains and Rebuilding a Friendship). When you have access to the area (it’s behind the locked door in Kelp Forest), make your way to the large lab in the middle and complete the initial interaction with Althea (if you haven’t already). Once you gain access to her lab, make sure you hit the button to lower the telescope before actually entering her lab (the button will be on a square panel and when you press it, the bottom of the lab will open up). Now head into her lab and on a table will be a bunch of blue beakers. If you swim into the larger ones, they’ll go flying. You need to get one of these to go into the hole in the floor of Althea’s lab and have to drop all the down past the Telescope. Once it’s out in open waters, the trophy will unlock.
![]() ![]() Spend 30 seconds in Lutra’s pod. |
Lutra can be found in Moss Cavern and will first be found by a large pod that has an entrance that looks sort of spacey (you’ll be coming here a lot while progressing through the Fables). Swim into the pod and just wait 30 seconds to unlock the trophy.
![]() ![]() Meet 25 NPCs. |
See Ambassador.
![]() ![]() Collect 9 Pages. |
See Loremaster.
![]() ![]() Meet 40 NPCs. |
There are 49 NPCs you can talk to in the game that are just extra creatures swimming or crawling about each area. To locate them, hold to activate your sonar and look for the star-like symbol. If you’ve already spoken with a creature, this won’t appear for them, but if you haven’t, it will:
Just swim up to them and press to interact with them. Exhaust the dialogue and they’ll be counted as being met. Not all of the NPCs will be available from the start. Each area (except for Midseas and the Breach) will have additional NPCs that appear after you reach certain points within the story. When you enter an area, there will always be notifications on the left side that appear letting you know about new pages and new NPCs that appear in the different areas, so just keep an eye out for those. There are only 6 areas so even if you just want to wait to get these all at the end, that works just as well EXCEPT for the Breach – you’ll only get one shot at these but even if you miss them, there are enough in the other 5 areas to get you to 40. If you complete the game before getting this, it’s ok, just reload your save file from the Main Menu and you’ll be able to freely roam around each area. The list of all of the NPCs is as follows:

![]() ![]() Collect 18 Pages. |
There are 18 pages total in the game, so you’ll need to collect all 18 for this trophy. There are 3 found in Eel Kingdom and 5 found in Coral Reef, Moss Cavern, and Kelp Forest. The ones with 5 will only have 3 available at the start, but when you complete those areas in full (finish the Fables and speak with the main characters one final time), the last 2 will open up. If you don’t get these before you finish the game, just reload your save file from the Main Menu and it’ll pop you return into the game right before you made the choice of who the new Creator will be, allowing you to roam around freely.
Out in the open, you’ll need to look for glowing orbs that will open up into portals when you get close to them. When you go through the portal, you’ll find yourself in a library where you need to find the specific page. The page you need will be marked with a yellow key above it (there is also a very faint sort of glowing sound when you get close to them). Once you have the Page, leave the library and you’ll load back into the ocean area where the portal once was.
The locations of all 18 pages are as follows (if you don’t want to use a text/image guide, please reference the video provided under Mythic Ocean):
Eel Kingdom
Page 1 (Era 1, Section 1 – The Beginning): Just in front of the entrance to “Kelp Forest”
Once inside, the Page will be on the floor just next to the podium. Be sure to also pick up the “Book of Antiquity” sitting on the podium itself.

Story Related.
After you’ve completed all of the Fables and spoken with each main character in each area one final time, you’ll need to have collected at least 10 Pages before returning to the Eel Kingdom. Once you have the pages, make your way there and speak with Elil. Exhaust the conversation about your adventures with each character and then give him the pages to make a Crown. Craft the Crown and then you’ll get to choose who the new creator is. Choose anyone you want and when you regain control, fly into the central light and you’ll start the ending scene of the game. When it starts, the trophy will unlock.
