Introduction:

Greetings comrades and welcome to the Virtuous Western trophy guide!
Developed by Nibb Games, and Published to consoles by Ratalaika Games; Virtuous Western is actually a short 16b bit puzzle game, and I rather enjoyed playing this one.
Only a couple times was I truly stumped, but that made those “ah ha” moments even better.

In regards to the glitch, when the game is left paused for more than a couple minuets, it will crash on you. This will force ya to restart the game. Luckily this has no effect on the trophies.

Roadmap:

Not much of one is needed, just play all 30 levels to complete the game.

Tips and Strategies:

• All enemies have a bullet count indicator above their head – Pay attention to this.
• Normal enemies take one shot and shotgun enemies will take two shots.
• A lot of times you will not be shooting the enemies but they will in fact be killing themselves, and each other.
• It will take you a few tries with throwing the dynamite to get its angle and throws to connect with the enemies.
• Enemies have to be facing you in order to shoot and their bullets have a maximum range.
• Your bullet range is slightly longer than the enemies.
• Some levels you will have to move in and out of buildings to change floors.

PLATINUM COWBOY Get all other trophies

For getting all other trophies

WELCOME TO WESTERN Enter the first level of the game

Will auto pop on the first level.

FIRST BLOOD Shoot your first enemy

For shooting your first bandit.

SHOOTING STRATEGY Shoot an enemy while he is reloading

You will get this automatically during the game, likely on level 3.

TRAITOR Make two enemies shoot each other

Go up the ladder in level 4 and down quickly to force the enemies to shoot each other. This mechanic is used a lot in the game.

SMASHED Smash an enemy with a box

This will be earned in level 6 when the chain is shot, and box lands on enemy.

EXPLODED Blow up an enemy

This will be earned in level 11 when you shoot the TNT barrel.

WHAT DID I DO? Make an enemy shoot a barrel of TNT

Also earned in level 11 when the enemy tries to shoot you and hits barrel instead.

CHAIN EXPLOSION Blow up several barrels of TNT in a row

This will be earned in level 13 and cannot be missed.

THREE BULLETS Collect 3 bullets in the same stage

While this can be earned in level 29, it’s easier to earn in the boss fight.

THERE GOES BOMB Blow up more than one enemy with just one dynamite

I actually earned this by blowing myself up in level 21, but in subsequent playthroughs I earned it by blowing up the the 3 enemies with one dynamite in the same level.

YOU ARE BIG, BUT YOU ARE NOT TWO Shoot down the shotgun enemy

You will encounter shotgun enemies in level 25 for the first time. As a reminder they take 2 bullets to kill. This will add another wrinkle to the games puzzles.

BUTCH BILL Defeat the boss

There is slight RNG to this boss, but once you figure out the pattern you just have to be patient and take your shots when you can.

During the boss fight work your way up by hiding on ladders. Once he starts to descend work you way across the platforms and jump down behind him and take a shot.
It will take 5 shots to do away with the boss.

The most important thing, in my opinion is to play it patiently. Every time I tried to rush it, I ended up eating a bullet.

Earned after beating the final boss.
