Introduction:

Welcome to the Arkan: The Dog Adventurer Trophy Guide!
Developed by Taverna Game Studio & Published to consoles by Sometimes You; Arkan: The Dog Adventurer is a cross between a platformer, a brick breaker and a tennis game.
Can you defeat the enemies and collect all the stars?!

Roadmap:

Step 1: 3 Star all 20 Levels in World 1
There are 20 levels within the first world, and you are advised to ensure that you collect the 3 stars available within each. All levels can be replayed as many times as you like and progressively get harder.

Make sure you play on Easy Mode, if you are just playing through for the trophies.

You’ll be earning these trophies:
Bronze Novice destroyer
Bronze First steps
Bronze Professional zombie
Silver Good dribbling
Silver Star collector 10
Silver Mid-level destroyer
Silver Star collector 20
Silver Teleporter
Gold Star collector 30
Gold High level destroyer
Gold Star collector 40
Gold Star collector 50
Gold Star collector 60

Step 2: Keep playing to reach 100 Stars
During this step you will notice that the levels within World 2 are now becoming a little difficult to get 3 Stars in each. Do not fret about this, as there are 180 Stars available throughout the 3 Worlds. Keep playing until you have the 100 Stars required.

During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
Gold Star collector 70
Gold Star collector 80
Gold Star collector 90
Gold Star collector 100
40-platinum Arkan: The dog adventurer Platinum

Good job! Completed all tasks!

Good job! Completed all tasks!

Novice destroyer
10 blocks destroyed

Destroy 10 of any block type will count for this trophy, and you will most probably earn this within the first level you play.

Mid-level destroyer Gold
100 blocks destroyed

Destroying 100 of any block type will count for this trophy. Expect to earn this around the 4th, or 5th level you play, as long as you are passing through the levels with relative ease.
If you are struggling with obtaining the 3 Stars, then you may obtain this trophy a little earlier due to replaying levels.

High level destroyer Gold
500 blocks destroyed

Destroying 500 of any block type will count for this trophy. Expect to earn this around the 11th, or 12th level you play, as long as you are passing through the levels with relative ease.
If you are struggling with obtaining the 3 Stars, then you may obtain this trophy a little earlier due to replaying levels.

Professional zombie
Died 10 times

This could be one of the first trophies you earn, or potentially even the last if you turn out to be an expert.
There are a couple of ways in which you can die in this game. The first is losing all your energy from repeatedly being hit by enemies projectiles, and the second is by falling into the pits. The second is by far the quickest way, so feel free to rinse and repeat should it be required.

Good dribbling Gold
Hit the ball 10 times without losing it

Arkan has a unique way of “Hitting” the ball, and you are taught the mechanics throughout the first few levels. Once you get to grips with the way in which you can control Arkan with the , you will have no troubles return the ball back with the
In order to obtain this trophy you will be required to return the ball back to the enemies in a tennis rally style a total of 10 times, or more.

Teleporter Gold
Used teleport 20 times

During the first few levels you will be shown how to “Teleport & SlowMo”. This is done by pressing the , and can be done on any level.

First steps
Beat the first level

You will only face 1 enemy within the first level, so this should cause you no problems.

Collected 100 stars

There are a total of 180 Stars available throughout the 60 Levels. As you progress through the game the levels will begin to increase in difficulty, with more and more enemies joining you.

It is highly advised (although not critical), that you ensure you have 3 Stars obtained within all the levels in World 1. I have included an unedited video at the top of the guide where I obtain all 3 Stars during this time, and head into the World 2 with 60 Stars already collected.

You will learn that in order to 3 Star the levels later in the game, that you will need to collect the actual stars within the level prior to defeating the enemies. This continues along this road as you progress, with more and more stars also added.

Remember that any level can be replayed, and you are not penalised for the time that you take to complete the level. You may therefore get more control from just your “serve” within some levels.

World 3 is also opened up after collecting 80 Stars, so do not fret about finishing levels without obtaining any stars within World 2, as there are plenty of levels to try.
