Introduction
Welcome to the Mel the Pyramid Cat trophy guide!
From Ember Box Studio & y-zo studio; “In Mel The Pyramid Cat, you’ll guide Mel, a brave feline explorer venturing deep into ancient pyramids in search of hidden treasures. But danger lurks in every corner from flying enemies and cursed traps to magical artifacts and the mysterious mummy Theo!“
Roadmap
Note: The game features Cross-Save functionality from PS4 > PS5. All trophies will auto-pop when you import the PS4 save into the PS5 menu.
Step 1: Reach the Jewels
This is a simple platformer where you’ll use Mel’s jump and dash abilities to avoid enemies, spikes, traps, and bottomless drops while making your way to the jewel at the end of each level.
The platinum can be earned very quickly, as you only need to complete the first 7 levels and then progress far enough to unlock the trophy for activating 3 checkpoints. The most straightforward method is to continue through the game until you reach Level 10, as this naturally provides the required checkpoint activations.
Alternatively, after completing Levels 6 and 7, you can replay one of those levels to activate an additional checkpoint if you want to unlock the trophy slightly earlier. However, Levels 8 and 9 are very short, so it’s usually quicker and simpler to just keep progressing.
Each level takes only a few seconds to complete, and your sole objective throughout is to safely reach the jewel and finish the stage. Once you’ve activated the required checkpoints and cleared the necessary levels, the platinum will be yours.
