From Webnetic; “Get ready for a pulse-pounding platforming challenge in Colorful Boi 2! With 74 meticulously designed levels, you’ll test your reflexes, precision, and patience against a gauntlet of devious traps and hazards.“

Roadmap

Step 1: Complete the 7 Chapters + 13 DLC Stages
First of all, this is not the easy type of game that you are used to seeing from this developer, so be prepared to actually challenge yourself to get the platinum, if you are inclinded to do so. If you are not, then simple utilise the cheat that has been added to the game by pressing & together when you enter the level.

If you’re not cheating, then the idea of the game is to make it through the levels within each chapter in whatever way you can. You jump with , and can move faster/jump further whilst holding ; and you’ll need to be able to time everything right in order to get through. You are only able to unlock the next level when you have completed the previous, so progression here is limited to your capability.

Whilst you are making your way through the levels bare in mind that you will need to complete 15 without dying for Perfect Run, so if you come across one that is relatively easy it will be worth you replaying from the pause menu if you do die.. Also keep an eye out for the collectibles (white circles normally located in a corner, or on a difficult path), as you’ll be better prepared for step 2 if you know where they are.

Step 2: Collectibles
Now that you have finished the game you will want to go back through grabbing the collectibles. You can of course collect them whilst you are playing through the levels, however they are normally located within a dangerous position, or away from where you want to go. Collect them once and they will stay collected even if you die or quit the level.

Not each level has a collectible within, so keep an eye out for them as you play. The collectibles can be found on the following chapters/stages –

  • Stages – 1 / 5 / 8 / 11 / 12

Step 3: Miscellaneous
You should have obtained all of the miscellaneous trophies by the end of the previous steps, however to summarise all that is needed –

• Complete the 7 Chapters + 13 DLC Stages
• Collect all the Collectibles
• Die 22 Times
• Use 30 Jump Pads
• Complete 15 Levels Without Dying
• Jump 200 Times
• Destroy 36 Weak Blocks

Tips and Strategies

Take your time, as the time limit does not matter within the levels; you simply need to get through them. You can also enable slow down within the accessibility settings from the main menu if you wish.

The game does have a tendancy to pop trophies randomly, so you may get lucky in this respect, as all the collectible trophies popped for me without me even collecting them. If you are also utilising the cheat of level skip you are advised to back up your game save after every couple of chapters, as there are reports of being locked out of levels, which in turn disables your ability to progress.
