Introduction
Welcome to the Twin P trophy guide!
From Xitilon, “TWIN P is a fast-paced one-button game.
You control a line with a pin on each end. One end is always pinned in place while the other constantly rotates clockwise. Press a button to pin the other end while releasing the first one or hold a button to extend the line. Your goal is to move around while avoiding the borders of the screen. Collect the coins to score points but avoid hitting the purple spikes.“
Roadmap
Step 1: The Difficult Trophies
There are 3 trophies worth mentioning within this simplistic single button arcade game, with the rest of the trophies being earned naturally along the way to achieving them –
- You Spin Me ‘Round, Baby! – Is achieved by obtaining a Obtain a 25x bonus. This is basically a multiplier that is increased by collecting yellow balls within quick succession, which will decrease if you have a sustained period of not collecting anything. This will most probably be obtained on route to the other two below, however is one of the trickier ones.
- The Twin P Minute – Survive 60 seconds. Surviving in the game is the single hardest thing to do, as you will need to master the ability to crab walk your pins around the screen and away from the spikes. Mastering the ability to stretch when needed is essential to survival.
- Kings Of Stretching – Get a score of 500. Once you have mastered the ability to survive, and to increase the multiplier, it will be time to go for the high score. This is not a difficult score to obtain once you have got the multiplier needed, and may only take 30 seconds or so to get too with the right combination.
Tips and Strategies
– Learn how to survive within the middle of the screen as much as possible, and try not to move unless you have too. The balls will come to you eventually, so it is more a case of survival than chasing the score.
– Be as patient as you can be as you’ll find yourself backed into a corner if you move away from the spikes too much.
