Roadmap

Step 1: The Long Game
There are 2 trophies that you will want to put immediate focus on as soon as you start out in the game, if you are looking to obtain the platinum within a single season. Silver Well-Oiled Machine & Gold State Of The Art will take almost the full season to come to fruition, so head to the descriptions below to find out what to do first.

Step 2: Season One
Hopefully this is all you will need to obtain the platinum, as all trophies are obtainable within a single season, if you are picking the right team to start out with.

It is recommended that you utilise the help functioned offered at the start of the game that will guide you through the first few things and how the game works. As you can imagine, there are a number of things that you can change in the game, and it is imperative that you continuously upgrade your components to stay competitive.

During this step you’ll hopefully earn all trophies, however you can continue on into another season if you are missing any.

Tips and Strategies

Pick Ferrari when you first start out. The Ferrari was clearly the best car to begin with in the 2022 season, and here it is no different (let’s face it, they only lost because they couldn’t make a good strategy call all season).

Make sure you continuously upgrade you car parts. If you want to stay completive you will want to evolve your car throughout the season. Make sure you utilise the within Cars > Car Analysis to look how you compare to other teams, and upgrade those highlighted parts that need some work.

You do not really need to worry about money with Ferrari (except for Gold State Of The Art), so design and upgrade car parts as much as you can.

When in the Race Weekend make sure to always “Simulate to Qualifying” & “Simulate to Race”. This will speed up the platinum run, and there is not much you can influence here anyway.

The game features different save slots, and also an auto save slot. This auto save is perfect in most parts as you can utilise this when things all go wrong in the race. If one of your drivers crashes/spins and ruins their race, feel free to pause and return to the main menu. Heading back into the auto save will put you back to just before the race started. Most races have a loose out come, and/or have cars that are more likely to win, so this trick cannot really be used to try and win each race, but it is a great tool to gain some points.

First Of Many Gold
Complete a full season.

There are 22 races within the Formula One season and this trophy will be earned naturally as soon as the last race is finished.

Top Step Gold
Win a Grand Prix.

There are a number of teams within the F1 grid that are capable of winning a single race in a season. This is just the stepping stone however to Silver Had Your Porridge.

Pole Position
Qualify in pole position.

A qualifying session takes place over 3 knockout rounds, with a the quickest 10 racers battling it out for the front place on the grid in the final round. Finishing this round as the quickest racer will net you the coveted Pole Position.

There are only 3-4 teams within the F1 grid that have a realistic chance of qualifying in pole position. If you are following the tips outlined at the beginning of the guide you will obtain this trophy within the first couple of races.

Within F1 Manager we have the ability to simulate the practice & qualifying sessions, which will not negate this trophy.

Drivers’ Champion Gold
Win the Drivers’ Championship.

Points are given to racers and teams for finishing each race within the top 10 places. Having one of your drivers with the most points at the end of a season will award them the Drivers’ Championship, and with it this trophy.

If you are following the tips outlined at the beginning of the guide then you should have no issues obtaining this trophy.

The trophy itself will not actually pop until the last race of the season is over.

Constructors’ Champion Gold
Win the Constructors’ Championship.

Points are given to racers and teams for finishing each race within the top 10 places. Having the most accumulative points from your drivers at the end of a season will award the team with the Constructors’ Championship, and with it this trophy.

If you are following the tips outlined at the beginning of the guide then you should have no issues obtaining this trophy.

The trophy itself will not actually pop until the last race of the season is over.

Another One Gold
Finish on the podium 10 times in one career.

Both drivers results are taken into consideration with this one, so technically you should be able to obtain this within the first 5 races; realistically you are looking to net this trophy around race 7-8.

There are a number of teams within the F1 grid that are capable of finishing on the podium regularly throughout the season, however you should have this one in the bag pretty early.

Had Your Porridge Gold
Win 10 Grands Prix in one career.

Both drivers results are taken into consideration with this one, so technically you should be able to obtain this within the first 10 races; realistically you are looking to net this trophy around race 15-18.

There are only a few teams within the F1 grid that are capable of winning a race regularly throughout the season, however you should have no issues with this if you are following the tips outlined at the beginning of the guide.

Settling In
Complete 5 Grands Prix in one career.

Obtained naturally on your way to Gold First Of Many.

Paddock Regular Gold
Complete 10 Grands Prix in one career.

Obtained naturally on your way to Gold First Of Many.

High Roller
Achieve a sponsor guarantee.

Before each race you will need to review your “Performance Targets”. These are available to see within the “Race” tab, and you will be prompted to go here before each race.

Once here head to Performance Targets and within Qualifying Targets you will see 2 “Guarantee Slots”, which you can select with the button. You will now notice 2 additional targets that you can wager with the sponsor to add additional revenue, and these will rotate round between the 3 different options.

As the Ferrari team you are almost guaranteed to reach Q3, Q2 & the Qualifying Position Target of 2nd, so just add these additional 2 for every race and you’ll gain more money (you can also lose money here, but it will not happen that often).

You also have Race Targets that you can toggle if you wish to try and gain more money.

Race Strategist
Assign a race strategy.

If you have guidance turned on they will take you through this part that takes place between the qualifying season and the race, and here you will want to assign where each driver plans to take their pit stops during the upcoming race.

It is very easy to missing assigning a strategy, if you are rushing through the game, however you get the opportunity prior to entering every single race, so you should obtain this with no issues.

Facility Expansion Gold
Build or upgrade a facility.

Any facility counts for this one, so you can upgrade one of the cheapest/quickest ones, however being as you are required to “Upgrade your design centre to the maximum level” for Gold State Of The Art you will naturally obtain this.

You should regularly upgrade/refurbish your facilities throughout the season to maintain a decent standing within the grid anyway.

State Of The Art Gold
Upgrade your design centre to the maximum level.

Let’s assume you’ve picked Ferrari as per the tips outlined at the beginning of the guide; you will therefore be required to upgrade your design centre 3 times throughout the season.

Each of these upgrades take a number of months, and cost your a fair chunk of money, so you will need to prepare yourself for these.

You will want to do your first upgrade as soon as you are able too, as you will need pretty much the whole season to get this trophy, and you will also want to ensure you have enough money ready for the next upgrade as soon as you are able to purchase it.

With this in mind you will need to ensure you have the following amounts ready –

  • First Upgrade – $11,500,00 million
  • Second Upgrade – $18,000,000 million
  • Third Upgrade – $32,000,000 million

Winning a race, and completing sponsors objectives will earn you around $4-5 million, so it’s my advice that you do not drop too far below these amounts whilst playing around and upgrading more facilities.

Fits Like A Glove
Fit a car part to your car.

You will first need to obtain Bronze Designer to be able to have a new car part to add to your car. Once the part has been designed you will first need to Manufacture the parts (Cars > Car Parts Development > New Project), and then install it.

You will be prompted within the Inbox when a newly manufactured part is ready to install.

Designer
Design a car part.

This can be done as soon as you start out from the Cars > Car Parts Development > New Project > Design section. Once here press to see how you compare against the other teams and develop the highlighted areas that you are lacking in.

CFD MAU Hours & Wind Tunnel Hours are available to be adjusted and limited numbers are added at specific times throughout the season. You do not have to utilise these, however the more of them you use, the better the part. Just remember that the are limited hours.

You can also adjust how many engineers you want to assign to this project (up to 6) to speed the timeframe up.

Regulator
Vote on a regulation change.

This will happen naturally as you progress through the season, and will come along at least twice throughout each one. one of the great things about this game is that it does not let you progress until you have completed specific actions between races; this is therefore unmissable.

Forward Thinker
Complete a car part research project for next season.

You cannot obtain this trophy until after BronzeRegulator. Once you have the opportunity head into the following area and complete a research project on any part that has “minor changes for next season”.

  • Cars > Car Parts Development > New Project > Research

Similar to designing a part, this will have an affect on next seasons’ car only.

El Plan Gold
Achieve the board’s season target.

If you are following the tips outlined at the beginning of the guide then you should have no issues obtaining this trophy alongside many others. Your target will most likely be “1st”, so you will obtain this one alongside Gold Drivers‘ Champion.

The trophy itself will not actually pop until the last race of the season is over.

Visionary Gold
Achieve a long-term board objective.

If you are following the tips outlined at the beginning of the guide then you should have no issues obtaining this trophy alongside many others. Your “long-term board objective” will most likely be to win the Constructors’ Championship, so you will obtain this one alongside Gold El Plan within your first season.

The trophy itself will not actually pop until the last race of the season is over.

Driving Master Gold
Have a driver with 100 in any performance rating.

Throughout the season your driver will naturally be awarded additional driver performance points that are used to upgrade specific skills of your driver. These are awarded on the post race driver screen and can be used within the Drivers section between races.

Here you will want to keep adding to the already highest ranked skill until they reach 100.

Done Deal
Sign a contract with a driver or staff member.

This can be done at any point within the season and is related to renewing a contract with (most likely) one of your engineers. This can also be awarded if you sign a new staff member from another team.

You can view staff contracts via the Staff tab, and you will be prompted that a staff members’ contract is expiring towards the end of the season.

All Hands On Deck Gold
Have 18 engineers assigned to projects at the same time.

This is not possible to obtain until after Gold State Of The Art. Once you have upgraded your facility to the maximum level you will have 20 engineers at your disposal, with the ability to assign up to 6 to each design/research project.

Eye For Talent
Scout a driver or staff member.

You do not actually need to sign them, so don’t worry with this one. Just head to the Drivers tab and “Scout Drivers”. Select any of them and move down to the “Standard Scouting” option.

Once this is complete the trophy will pop.

Well-Oiled Machine Gold
Have your pit crew reach 100 in any performance rating.

If you are wanting to get all trophies within one season this is the first thing you will want do before anything else (even Gold State Of The Art). If you put this into action immediately you will be forced into at least a third of another season as the ability drops back down between seasons.

Head to the Staff tab, then down to “Pit Crew” and place the focus on the already highest attribute, then leave it. You will obtain this at some point throughout the season if left alone.

On The Board
Score your first championship point.

Obtained naturally on your way to Gold Drivers’ Champion.
