Introduction
Welcome to the Grid Legends Classic Car-Nage DLC trophy guide!
The first DLC release for Grid Legends contains 8 new Story events, new sponsorship challenges, and 5 new vehicles for us to play with in a “Destruction Derby” type environment.
Roadmap
Step 1: Story Mode
Particate in Season 2 of the Story Mode with 8 new events to tackle. This is not about winning; this is about completing the objectives throughout each race.
You’ll be earning these trophies:
PLAN WITH A VAN
T-BONE TURMOIL
FINAL SHOWDOWN
Step 2: Mileage Grind & Miscellaneous
There is a lot of unnecessary grinding of miles involved here, and you’re going to be sick of it by the time you’re finished. There are a couple of miscellaneous trophies that you can earn on the way, and you’ll need to ensure that you complete the objectives for at least one of the new sponsorships.
During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
Contact Sport
Overnight It!
Demolished
Transformed
Will you sponsor me?
Rescue Mission
Whipping along
Tips and Strategies
Before starting out in Step 2 make sure you purchase the “Sponsorship Requirements 3” upgrade from Team > Mechanic Development. This will ensure your objectives are reduced significantly.

Trophy Guide
![]() ![]() Complete Story – PLAN WITH A VAN |
During the very first event of the Classic Car-Nage Story Mode you will need to dish out as much damage as possible. Damage points are awarded for Light, Medium & Heavy hits on your opponents, and it is clearly visible on the screen when you have achieved one of these.
You can replay the event as many times as you need to pass it.
![]() ![]() Complete Story – T-BONE TURMOIL |
During the fourth event of story, you will be tasked with destroying your first opponent. This will take some time and may take a couple of tries to complete during the 6-lap event. Remember it is not all about winning the “race”; you can finish last and still pass the event if you have completed the objective.
In this one you will have the chance to have more head-on collisions, causing more damage. It’s recommended that you smash up everyone in the first couple of laps and target a specific low energy opponent during the last few laps.
![]() ![]() Complete Story – FINAL SHOWDOWN |
This is basically the same as PLAN WITH A VAN, but this time you need to deal twice as much damage. By this point you will be used to how to inflict the damage, so shouldn’t cause too many problems.
You may on occasions want to spin that vehicle round and head in the wrong direction to deal some additional damage out.
![]() ![]() Complete 3 events with the Jupiter Freighter in Night conditions |
Head to Race Creator and set up the following event –
- Lap Boost
- Classic Car-Nage
- Demolition Derby (Automatic)
- Jupiter Freighter
- Yokohama Docks
- Container Crossing
- Night
- 1 (Lap)
- 2 Drivers
Repeat the single lap race 3 times and you will this trophy.
![]() ![]() Wreck 5 opponent vehicles in Classic Car-Nage events |
This may not come naturally as it can be quite difficult to wreck an opponent. In order to make it easier on yourself you can set up a “Creator” race with just a single opponent and focus on wrecking them. Otherwise feel free to replay T-BONE TURMOIL a few times to boost this up.
![]() ![]() Hit at least 10 different vehicles in a single Classic Car-Nage event |
In order for the “hit” to count you must actually deal damage to a vehicle. T-BONE TURMOIL is a perfect event for this, as you’ll be smashing into a load of cars as you go around.
It may even benefit you to move to the back of the pack right at the beginning and then slowly work your way through the field insuring you inflict damage on each car you pass.
![]() ![]() Complete any Classic Car-Nage Sponsor event |
Three new sponsors are introduced for this DLC, and in order to unlock the Sponsor Event you must first select the sponsor from the Team Tab, and then complete each objective within it.
Before you start your journey on this you are going to want to purchase the “Sponsorship Requirements 3” upgrade from Team > Mechanic Development. This will ensure your objectives are reduced, and you will therefore only need to achieve reduced objectives.
The 3 new sponsors are –
- ACHEVEE –
- Damage dealt to Voltz (Pink Wolf Symbol) – 425
- Top 3 finishes with at least 50% health remaining – x4
- Miles driven in Demolition Derby vehicles – 84
- INDLOVU –
- Damage dealt to Ravenwest (Black Background / Red Raven Symbol) – 425
- Seconds spent in air – 102
- Vehicles wrecked – 25
- LUGNA –
- Damage dealt to Seneca (White Background / Seneca Symbol) – 425
- Air overtakes – 25
- Laps completed in Demolition Derby – 85
ACHEVEE is by far the easiest to complete, and despite seeming to be what would be the longest, it will come naturally as you work towards Transformed,
Rescue Mission &
Whipping along.
Once you have completed all 3 objectives head to Career > Semi-Pro > Grid Challenges to find the event.
![]() ![]() Gain access to Tier 3 Upgrades for the Dumont Ute Pick-Up |
In order to gain access to Tier 3 you are going to need to reach 35 miles driven within this vehicle.
In order to make it as painless as possible head to Race Creator and set up the following event –
- Lap Boost
- Classic Car-Nage
- Demolition Derby (Automatic)
- Dument Ute Pick-Up
- Yokohama Docks
- Container Crossing
- Night
- 62 (Laps)
- 2 Drivers
This can be pretty tedious and will take around 35-40 minutes purely circulating the figure of eight. Unfortunately you cannot ride the barriers and afk this, as the barriers bite back.
You can also adjust the setting to include more racers if you are missing any of the other trophies, or sponsorship objectives.
![]() ![]() Gain access to Tier 3 Upgrades for the Beltra Hot Rod |
In order to gain access to Tier 3 you are going to need to reach 35 miles driven within this vehicle.
In order to make it as painless as possible head to Race Creator and set up the following event –
- Lap Boost
- Classic Car-Nage
- Demolition Derby (Automatic)
- Beltra Hot Rod
- Yokohama Docks
- Container Crossing
- Night
- 62 (Laps)
- 2 Drivers
This can be pretty tedious and will take around 30-35 minutes purely circulating the figure of eight. Unfortunately you cannot ride the barriers and afk this, as the barriers bite back.
You can also adjust the setting to include more racers if you are missing any of the other trophies, or sponsorship objectives.
![]() ![]() Drive at least 99 miles (159km) in the Beltra Frostbite |
In order to reach at least 99 miles driven within this vehicle you are looking at a long (boring) grind. It is worth splitting this one up into 3-4 events, so that you are not falling asleep whilst completing it.
In order to make it as painless as possible head to Race Creator and set up the following event –
- Lap Boost
- Classic Car-Nage
- Demolition Derby (Automatic)
- Beltra Frostbite
- Yokohama Docks
- Container Crossing
- Night
- 60 (Laps)
- 2 Drivers
This is very tedious and will take around 40 minutes purely circulating the figure of eight and will need to be done a few times. Unfortunately you cannot ride the barriers and afk this, as the barriers bite back.
You can also adjust the setting to include more racers if you are missing any of the other trophies, or sponsorship objectives.
