Introduction

Welcome to the Roar of Revenge trophy guide!
Leomhann is wreaking havoc on the land and it’s up to you to put a stop to him and his minions! In this love letter to old school hack and slashes, slash, jump, and kill your way to a quick and easy platinum trophy!

Roadmap

Step 1: Play Until Level 4
This is the only step in the game, as all the trophies come naturally. You’ll have to kill a boss and a few harder enemies, but other than that, there’s no collectibles at all! If you want an easier time with the game, don’t forget to turn on easy mode, and have fun.

Platinum Barbarian Get all other trophies

Get all other trophies

Winged Boots Get the Winged Boots

Near the end of level 1, you’ll find the Winged Boots in a small room. Once you acquire them, you get this trophy and the ability to jump!

Climber Hero Climbing the long stair on the first level

Near the opening of the game, you’ll end up climbing up a really long ladder in a tight corridor, avoiding spikes from the wall. Once you reach the top, this trophy pops.

Bracelets of Zeus Get the Bracelets of Zeus

After you kill the Beholder boss, you’ll be in a room with a treasure chest. Open this chest to get the trophy.

Theseus Kill the Minotaur

After you get the Gothic trophy, and open the door, you’ll be met with an enemy with a big axe right next to a guillotine. It will smack its axe on the ground once and then you can attack it two or three times before you should back off to the left. Repeat the process and when it’s dead, you get this trophy!

The Magic Repair the Bracelets of Zeus

After the flying section of level three, you’ll find yourself in the clouds. You’ll then get little wind tornadoes thrown at you that you must avoid, plus get blown back a tiny bit by the wind now and again. Once you get through this room, you’ll see a statue with a bottle in its hand. Jump up to get it and get this trophy.

Undertaker Reach the first Tomb

When the game starts, you’ll have to walk right. You’ll immediately reach a tomb, and this trophy will unlock.

Beholder Hunter Kill boss Beholder

After you make it through the labyrinth in level two, you’ll meet up with your first boss. When the fight starts, you’ll see just one enemy flying around the room. It has no attacks, so just avoid it and smack it when you can. Once it’s dead, four more come to life. This is when it gets a bit hectic. You don’t have to kill each one, just deplete the full health bar and you win!

Gothic Get a Skull Key

In level two, you end up falling down a deep pit. Once inside, you’ll be in a pink block room with a chest up top. You have to open this chest to get through the door to your right, and once you do, you get this trophy.

Labyrinth Beat the Labyrinth in Stage 2

After you defeat the enemy for Theseus you’ll be in a long hallway with falling spike balls that destroy the floor. At the end you’ll see a door and a white skull. Open the door by destroying the skull and you’ll be in the labyrinth. I’ll label the doors by number starting from the far left, so the solution is as follows: 1, 2, 1. After you get through, this trophy unlocks!

Flying Flying with the winged boots

In level three, you’ll end up being in a room with a tombstone and a little pedestal in the middle. If you read the tomb stone, it talks about how to fly. Simply stand on the pedestal and wait, and then when you start flying, you’ll get this trophy when the screen changes. On the right side of the pedestal is a save point! So hit it for some health before you fly!

Teleport Use the teleport in Stage 3

Right after you get the magic ability in level three, you’ll see three rings to your right. Hit all three with magic and then hop in the portal to get this trophy.

Blind Guardian Kill a Blind Guardian

At the beginning of level 4, you’ll get trapped in a room with an enemy and a single ladder. Simply kill the enemy and you’ll get this trophy. It shoots lasers from its face, so make sure to duck to avoid them!

Checkpoint Get to the first bonfire

Right after the Climber Hero trophy, you’ll reach a checkpoint, which is marked by a bunch of weapons in the ground. Hit down on the DPad, or the left stick to “rest”, which restores health and gives you this trophy!
