Introduction
Welcome to the Retro Pixel Racers trophy guide!
Developed by 2ksomnis, and published to consoles by JanduSoft; Retro Pixel Racers is a “top-down arcade racing game with a retro style graphics where you control of little cars racing over exciting tracks.“
Roadmap
Step 1: Complete the first 25 Tracks
All trophies are related to winning a specific race. The races take place on every second event, with a time trial placed in-between them, and you will need to finish first, and/or complete the 5 laps in time trial before the timer runs out in order to unlock the next track.
No trophies are missable, and you will find that the tracks get progressively more difficult to manoeuvre around. This does not necessarily mean that it is harder to complete the challenge, just that you may need to be more accurate with your driving.
Once you have completed the objective in 25/26 races you will have earned the platinum.
Tips and Strategies
You will only need to use 2 of the available cars in order to complete the objectives in all races/time trials. These two cars were more than adequate enough to manoeuvre around the tracks, and beat the opponents.
You may find that if a track has more than one hairpin corner, then you will be better off using the blue car below.
It is also recommended that you utilise the tapping of the throttle when going around these corners, as holding the throttle flat out will make you take the corner too wide.

Been on this game for 6 hours now only on race 16, the races against a.I are fun with the janky controls, but the time trials are just horrible, the janky controls hinder you lots and the so called drift in the game is non existent with no button assigned, no way this plat is 35-45 min, I am the average gamer especially at racers and I am nowhere the plat yet so the estimated time is completely wrong, not a fun game I’d recommend you avoid it.

Hey! Thanks for checking out the guide. Are you sure you’re referring to the right game? There are 2 versions that are almost identical- Retro Pixel Racers (this one) and Micro Pixel Racers (not this one).
I have personally obtained the platinum 6 times for Retro Pixel Racers, with the shortest time being 35 minutes. Micro Pixel Racers I understand to be a lot harder, and therefore a long platinum time.

Thank you for the quick response yes definetly retro pixel racer, i original puts her micro pixel racer but then realised it didn’t have a guide as I am taking part in a discord challenge competition so I purchased retro pixel after noticing they were different games. The races against the ai are fun with the controls but the time trials are just plain horrible, I am on race 14 time trial and been on that for over 3 hours now I am driving pretty much perfectly and can’t even get past lap 3, the time restraints on it are a joke. Like I said previously I ain’t the best at racing games but there’s no way it should be this restricted.
