Review

Brianna, Melanie and Riona are all movie stars. But they happened to pitch a show and film a pilot for it. Brianna needs a break from the stress of the workplace so she decides to rent herself a nice cabin out in the middle of nowhere. Her co-stars find out, then want to be invited out, and queue the weekend of fun and excitement!

The dialogue for the game is actually pretty funny. I found myself laughing at quite a few jokes I was not expecting and it was nice to learn more about these three ladies. From the stresses of work, to learning a bit about their pasts, and their current life issues. The game is a love story, where you play as Brianna, trying to tell her true feelings to whoever you want to have feelings for, which I was not expecting. I expected some risqué sex jokes, but a full on love story was not it.

The game has a few endings you can get. One with each of the girls, which kind of left me sad honestly, and a big “happy” ending that left me laughing and giggling and happy for the characters. I did have to redo a lot of the game though, as for some reason Dharker Studios can’t seem to fix a bug in all their games. If you just exit the game without quitting to the main menu first, the game might save your progress, but for the most part you just lose everything. Saves, gallery photos, settings. Just all gone. Again, it’s an issue in all of their games that I always forget about until it happens and I go “ohhh right…”.

I was expecting a risqué story, as that’s what Gamuzumi loves to publish. Silly sexy stories. But this game is very much intended for an adult audience, and to be read while no one is around! It all started off game honestly. Some shots of the girls in bikinis, jokes about seeing each other naked, so on and so forth. But when I got a CG image of full on nudity, I was very shocked that there was no censorship! I’m so used to censorship. Not only does the game not censor anything, there’s also times in the story about very descriptive sex acts that the ladies do to each other. Thankfully I was alone so I didn’t have anyone asking what I was doing. But again it was very unexpected.

Aside from those certain parts though, the story is filled with laughter. Like when the girls are jumping off a rope into a lake, or going clothes shopping. I was always having a good time and I truly wish the game was longer and expanded. It’s a shame it felt so rushed, because I wanted more time with these girls. I want to know their story more. See what happens in their work life and how their friendship still grows. I need another!

Rating

Rating: 8 out of 10.

Pros:

  • Fun Writing
  • Risqué Jokes
  • Loveable Characters

Cons:

  • Save Bugs
  • Not Long Enough

Summary

I thoroughly enjoyed this short VN. Which I was very surprised about because Dharker Studios is very hit or miss for me. The characters were fun, the writing had me giggling and I want to see their life more. Just read it alone or else someone might see and question your life choices!
