Welcome to the Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R trophy guide!
Developed by 3DClouds, and published to consoles by the wonderful Outright Games; this adventure racing game is sure to thrill!

Roadmap

Step 1: Tutorial
You will need to complete this for a single trophy, but you will also assure yourself of some other trophies within it. You will begin to understand what is needed to win in this game, so that’s a bonus.

During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
Spy Skill
First Mission
Fast as the Wind

Step 2: Mulitplayer / Online Race
You will need to win 5 races online for this game, and let’s be honest, it’s always best to get these out of the way quickly. Don’t worry about finding yourself a boost partner or anything, as you will be able to play against the AI, if there is no one else around.

You will also need to win a race in Split-Screen, so get that second controller ready.

Step 3: Spy Tournament
This is where you will spend most of your time. You will need to complete all missions for the platinum run, so a total of 17 races overall. The missions unlock only when you finished in 3rd or higher in the previous one.

Just play and enjoy the music and this platinum will come in no time.

What’s Next

Step 4: Cash Grind
You may need to grind out some currency to be able to purchase the remaining cars. This will not take too long, so have no worries. Check out trophy description of My Team to see what’s recommended.

Tips and Strategies

Make sure that once you start a tournament, that you finish it. If you go back to the Main Menu during a tournament you will need to replay all the races again.

The whole game can be done on “Beginner Spy” difficulty, so that will take away any issues you may come across with regards to finishing outside the top positions.

Once you get used to drifting with the / you will be smashing your way through in no time. You can grab a boost at the start of the races by pressing just when the counter hits one.

Personally I used Echo as my main character, as they had the car with the fastest top speed.

Easy Win Win 10 Races

Simple enough. You can lower the difficulty to the lowest if you are struggling, however I highly anticipate that you will achieve this without even thinking.

You and Me Win an Online Race

See  Social Network.

Fast as the Wind Boost up to 160 mph/260 km/h

This can be unlocked as part of the Tutorial, as this will teach you how to boost, and how to handle the car. Nothing too difficult and you should earn this trophy without even thinking about it.

Let’s Do It First Race Win

Online/Offline, it doesn’t matter. The first time you cross the line in first place you will be award this trophy.

Sh1ft3r Overdrive Win a race with a Sh1ft3r Car

You can purchase you first Sh1ft3r Car from the Yoka Shop for 2,000 in game currency.

Once you have made the purchase head into Quick Race and select one of the purple bordered characters as your chosen driver. Win the next race and the trophy will be yours.

I personally used Shashi for this trophy after purchasing for 3,000.

Yoka Unlock an item in the Yoka Shop

The cheapest items in the Shop are the “Capoeira Kid” & “Sticker 1”. These are available for a whopping 500 in game currency, which you will be able to afford to buy after winning you first race in the Spy Tournament (750).

Garage Expansion Unlock a vehicle in the Yoka Shop

The cheapest vehicles come in at 2,000 in game currency. You’ll be able to afford your first vehicle after winning the first mission.

They are located on the far left of the machine, and you can use the to scroll to the item.

Drop the Beat Unlock a music track in the Yoka Shop

The music tracks are 500 in game currency, so you’ll be able to afford your first one after winning you first race in the Spy Tournament.

They are located in the middle of the machine and each costs 500 at a time.

Home Sweet Home Unlock a gadget in the Yoka Shop

The gadgets are 750 in game currency, so you’ll be able to afford your first one after winning you first race in the Spy Tournament.

They are located in the middle of the machine and each costs 750 at a time.

Be sure to purchase the Arcade Cabinet ( Retro Gamer) for by going to the right side of the vending machine and using the to scroll to the item.

My Team Unlock all cars in the Yoka Shop

You are going to need to do a bit of grinding for this one. You can either grind within championships, or via single lap quick races.

I found that replaying Mission 5 “South Pacific Tournament” was the quickest way to rack up money, as you get a nice little bonus for winning it.

Social Network Win 5 Online Races

There is no need for any boosting partners in this one, as you are able to compete online against AI Bots.

Cross the line first after 3 laps of some beautiful scenic routes and you’ll have this done in no time.

At Home Win a race in SplitScreen

Grab yourself a second controller and head into multiplayer. There is nothing quite like beating the old rival at home.

You will need to be joined by at least one AI, but you can lower the laps to a single one to make this nice and quick.

PaintBall Hit someone using the paintball gun for the first time

Once you have built up enough energy to fire the Paintball Gun with , line yourself up behind someone and shoot them down.

Spy Skill Use the Spy Skill of a character for the first time

“The Spy Skill” will be your best friend throughout this whole journey. Build up the power bar until you have enough power stored to utilise the skill by pressing .

This comes at part of the Tutorial.

First Mission Finish the Tutorial

Some of us will not normally do a Tutorial for these sorts of games, but in this one you have too. You may as well knock this one out first, as it could teach you a thing or two.

Spy Team Win two missions with two different characters in the Spy Tournament

Once you have completed the first Championship “Los Angeles Cup”, make sure you select a different character to participate in the next championship, “Brazil Trophy”.

If you win this one too you will unlock this trophy.

Fly Away Place first, second or third in the 1st Championship

The Los Angeles Cup is a face off between 8 highly skilled drivers in a championship points scoring type event. You will need to defeat the other 7 participants in four, 3 lap races to be crowned the Ultimate Champion.

Finishing in the Top 3 places overall will unlock the Brazil Trophy Championship.

Travel the World Place first, second or third in the 2nd Championship

The Brazil Trophy is a face off between 8 highly skilled drivers in a championship points scoring type event. You will need to defeat the other 7 participants in four, 3 lap races to be crowned the Ultimate Champion.

Finishing in the Top 3 places overall will unlock the Sahara Tour Championship.

All Around The World Place first, second or third in the 3rd Championship

The Sahara Tour is a face off between 8 highly skilled drivers in a championship points scoring type event. You will need to defeat the other 7 participants in four, 3 lap races to be crowned the Ultimate Champion.

Finishing in the Top 3 places overall will unlock the South Pacific Tournament.

Final Event Place first, second or third in the 4th Championship

The South Pacific Tournament is a face off between 8 highly skilled drivers in a championship points scoring type event. You will need to defeat the other 7 participants in four, 3 lap races to be crowned the Ultimate Champion.

Finishing in the Top 3 places overall will unlock the final event Chasing Shadows.

What’s Next Finish the Spy Tournament

Once you have completed the final event against Shashi you will be awarded this trophy.

Shashi Showdown Race in the Final Event

As soon as the race starts in Mission 5 you will earn this trophy.
