Introduction:
Welcome to the F1 2021 trophy guide!
Experience Aiden Jackson’s & Casper Akkerman’s “Braking Point”, in a all new Story Mode that has been introduced by EA for the first time this year.
The game can be played in any order you wish, as there is not real shortcut to this platinum. A lot of the trophies can be obtained in different modes, and are not specific to one. I have therefore listed the order that I played through the game in the roadmap, but feel free to play as you wish.
Roadmap:
Step 1: Story Mode – “Braking Point”
Braking Point is an objective based story mode where you begin by following the start of Aiden Jackson’s career. You’ll experience how it is like to settle into a new team, and progress your way through that inaugural season.
Once you progress you’ll also get to see how it is from the perspective of veteran teammate Casper Akkerman, as he fights his own battles on the grid.
There is nothing missable during this step, so just play through, hit those objectives in each race and you’ll be fine.
You’ll be earning these trophies:
Showing huge potential
1st of many
The Beginning
The Incident
The Bust Up
The End
Step 2: My Team
During your “My Team” playthrough you will want to have it set to a 10 race championship, and then win all races within this one season. This will net you the World Champion trophy, and most probably
Constructors Champion. If you fail to get the latter, then you will need another run through with your teammate now improved.
Be sure to swap out your second driver at the end of the season and sign a level 15, or greater driver to obtain We got ’em, as this is only available in-between seasons.
You may need to continue into a second season of My Team in order to raise your “Team Acclaim” to level 20 for For the history books.
During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
Best in session
Go, Team!
Strike a pose
Early R&D
R&D Lover
Overnight parts
Go easy on them
Stitch in time
1 lap is all I need
In a rush?
A weekend to remember
The road ahead
Positive vibes
Perfect record
We got ’em
For the history books
World Champion
Constructors Champion
Step 3: Two Player Career
Your 2 player career will need to be done online, so there is no getting away with split screen on this one. It’s not all bad news though, as you can minimise your time here with a 10 race career.
You will also net Second time around for completing a second season, if Step 2 had been completed prior.
During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
Start a Two Player Career
Two Player Career Complete!
Going to need a bigger cabinet
Second time around
Step 4: Online
Prepare yourself for a decent grind in this one, as Dedicated to the cause is going to take some patience. Most can be boosted with a friend in private lobbies, so that may take some of difficulty away.
You can always join our Discord with this link (Discord Invite), if you are unable to find a partner to boost with.
During this step you’ll earn the following trophies:
I like to watch
Mixing it up
Multiplayer Victory
League Racer
Multiplayer Fame
10 down
Clean Me
In the multiplayer zone
Dedicated to the cause
Step 5: Miscellaneous
Most of these miscellaneous trophies can be combined with each other, or within the modes previously played. Check out the trophy descriptions below if you are missing any in particular.
During this step you’ll earn the following trophies:
Erase the past
One for the bank
Look shifty
Passion of Italy
Passion of Japan
Passion of Great Britain
Monaco Hero
Wet look
Touring the Americas
Remembering your roots
Highs and Lows
Tracked Addiction
Qualifying Master
Epic Racer

![]() ![]() Complete your first session in your My Team car. |
This is in relation to the session objectives, and is not just obtained by working your way through the time of the session.
In order to “complete” a session you will be required to perform on track in a relevant way according to the session objectives. You can chose between which objective you want to take on during any of the 3 practice sessions, and you will be required to obtain a 5/5 standard for that objective.
You can chose between things like –
- Race Strategy
- Tyre/Fuel Management
- Qualifying Pace
![]() ![]() Complete your first race weekend with your own team |
Within you “My Team” playthrough you will obtain this trophy at the end of the first race. It does not matter how you perform on track, as the trophy will be awarded regardless.
![]() ![]() Complete a Practice Programme session using Quick Practice |
In order to have the option of Quick Practice you will need to complete at least one practice session prior. Go into Practice One and skip the time to the end (or participate if you wish), and once you return to your workstation you will be giving the option to go into Quick Practice rather than a full one.
![]() ![]() Complete your first race in Two Player Career |
See Two Player Career Complete!
![]() ![]() Achieve Pole Position after any qualifying session |
This trophy should come naturally within any of your career playthroughs. Remember that you can lower the AI difficulty if you are struggling to achieve this one.
![]() ![]() During an interview, your actions lowered the morale of a Department in your Team |
Ready to criticise the team? This is something that I would not normally recommend, but in order to get this trophy you will need to answer the questions within the press conference that is disrespectful to a particular department.
![]() ![]() Get on the podium |
The first time you finish a race within the top 3 positions you will earn this trophy. If you decide to play out the “Breaking Point” story mode first you can also earn this trophy in the first F2 race.
![]() ![]() Get 1st on the podium |
The first time you finish a race in 1st place you will earn this trophy. If you decide to play out the “Breaking Point” story mode first you can also earn this trophy in the first F2 race.
![]() ![]() Win the F1 Drivers’ Championship |
You will automatically get this one whilst going for Perfect record. It will pop when it is mathematically impossible for anyone to catch you in the standings.
![]() ![]() Win the F1 Constructors Championship |
Depending on how your teammate performs, you will most likely achieve this when going for Perfect record. It will pop when it is mathematically impossible for anyone to catch you in the standings.
![]() ![]() Set the fastest lap in all 3 Practice sessions, get pole and win the GP |
You will need to participate within all 3 practice sessions, ensuring that you achieve the fastest laps in each, as well as achieving Pole Position, and winning the race.
This is easily done by adjusting the AI difficulty within the game settings. You can adjust the difficulty of the game at any point between races, and as many times as you like.
![]() ![]() Develop a component in every R&D Department |
There are 4 departments within the R&D section, so this is easily achieved by making sure you develop one from each when you first start out.
They can be either standard, or rushed parts.
![]() ![]() Have more than one Department in a positive morale status |
Positivity is key in life, and during your F1 career it will be no different. Be sure to praise the team when in the Press Conference, and make sure you switch between what department you are giving the shout out too.
This will come naturally if you are sharing positive vibes within your press conferences.
![]() ![]() Win your first online race (excluding career) |
This, and Multiplayer Fame can easily be boosted within Invite Only, if you are struggle with achieving this through normal online play.
You can also achieve this with the pause method as mentioned in Dedicated to the cause.
![]() ![]() Win 5 online races (excluding career) |
This, and Multiplayer Victory can easily be boosted within Invite Only, if you are struggle with achieving this through normal online play.
You can also achieve this with the pause method as mentioned in Dedicated to the cause.
![]() ![]() Complete 50 hours of total track time |
This will more than likely be your final trophy, as hours it actually quite a lot in this game. There is however an AFK workaround, as (despite not showing in the stats) the Time Trial also counts towards the progress.
All you need to do for this one therefore, is to go into a Time Trial, plug your controller into charge and elastic band the to the side so that the game doesn’t auto pause.
Then of course you need to come back in a day or two to see if you have obtained the trophy, as it will pop on track once you’ve reached the 50 hours.
![]() ![]() Finish 10 races in online multiplayer (excluding career) |
![]() ![]() Finish 50 races in online multiplayer (excluding career) |
![]() ![]() Finish 100 races in online multiplayer (excluding career) |
Unless you are someone that likes spending hours and hours within the F1 online environment, you’re going to want to get this one out the way as quickly as possible.
Unfortunately there is no real short cut for this, as we did experiment with all cars crashing, but this did not count as a “finish”.
There is however a slight workaround that can be used, however it still involves sitting through the races themselves. This is done by pausing the race as soon as it starts online, which will call forth the good old AI to take control of your car and race along for you.
This way you can forget about the game and just Advance when the race has finished. There is no actual need to do any physical racing.
You can also easily boost this one within Invite Only, but the main thing you are really looking for is to ensure that you are in sessions that are labelled Very Short (Multiplayer→ Social Play → Browse → Filter → Session Length → Very Short →
), as this will show 3 Lap Races with no qualifying.
![]() ![]() Achieve 50 pole positions |
Some grind is required here, as you’ll probably only have a dozen or so Pole Positions by the time that you have finished all the offline steps.
This is best to be done within Grand Prix mode, and on one of your favourite, and shortest tracks.
One Shot Qualifying is also the quickest way to get through this, and remember, you can just retire from the race and move on to the next event. There is no need to go through the races too.
![]() ![]() Win a single Grand Prix event at Monza as Ferrari or AlphaTauri |
The trophy description does pretty much all the explanation needed; however, should you need a bit more guidance, you will need to head to Solo → Grand Prix, then pick the relevant track and car. You do not need to participate in Qualifying if you do not wish (although you may need to in order to plug away at Qualifying Master).
Don’t forget to set the length of race to the minimum (3 laps), and lower the difficulty if you are having trouble.
![]() ![]() Win a GP event at Suzuka with a Honda Power Unit |
The trophy description does pretty much all the explanation needed; however, should you need a bit more guidance, you will need to head to Solo → Grand Prix, then pick the relevant track and car. You do not need to participate in Qualifying if you do not wish (although you may need to in order to plug away at Qualifying Master).
Don’t forget to set the length of race to the minimum (3 laps), and lower the difficulty if you are having trouble.
![]() ![]() Win a Silverstone GP as Williams, McLaren, Aston Martin, Red Bull or Alpine |
![]() ![]() Complete a 2nd season of My Team/Driver Career/Two Player Career |
You will need to complete 2 championships, within any of the Career modes. The roadmap is designed to get you this in the fastest possible way.
![]() ![]() Win a 50% distance (or longer) F1 race at Monaco |
The trophy description does pretty much all the explanation needed; however, should you need a bit more guidance, you will need to head to Solo → Grand Prix, then pick the relevant track and car. You do not need to participate in Qualifying if you do not wish (although you may need to in order to plug away at Qualifying Master).
Don’t forget to set the length of race to Long (39 Laps in this case), and lower the difficulty if you are having trouble.
![]() ![]() Complete a League event |
This is easily achieved with a boosting partner, as you can set the league up and join each other online.
If you do not have a boosting partner you will need to join a league that has already been created. Head to the Multiplayer, Leagues section and it will show you the list of leagues available with races soon to start. Join it (if it is an open league), and make sure you are online at the specified time to compete.
![]() ![]() Win a race using manual gearbox. |
Not always the easiest thing to do, but you have the ability to lower the difficulty as much as you like. You do not need to qualify using manual gears, so as long as you switch them prior to starting the race you should easily obtain this.
Attempting this on a track where there is minimal changes in gears is also recommended. I personally prefer somewhere like the Austrian, Canadian, or Italian GP’s.
![]() ![]() Spectate an online race |
This can be accessed via the Multiplayer Menu, and will be achieved after you have spectated your first race.
To quickly achieve head into Social Play, Browse, and then join any lobby that has a 3 lap race enabled. Once you’ve joined press to head into Spectator Mode.
![]() ![]() Show off your custom emote on the podium |
This must be done with a custom character after you have adjusted the pose within the Helmet & Emotes section of your driver profile.
Once you have changed it up from the original preselected pose, and then make it onto the podium for the first time, you will be awarded this trophy.
![]() ![]() Edit your customisation and complete a online race using it |
Changing just one item within your customisation screen before going online, will net you this trophy as soon as you complete your first online event.
![]() ![]() Save a captured highlight in Theatre Mode |
When you participate in races you will automatically store a “Highlight”, which can be access via the Main Menu. In order to save it go into the Theatre, highlight a capture, then press .
![]() ![]() Use Flashback to rewind time |
Instant Replay’s, or “Flashbacks” can be used in pretty much every event. In order to utilise one you can either press the and then
, or via the pause menu.
The first time you use one the trophy will be obtained.
![]() ![]() Achieve 1st place for every race in a 10 race season |
This can be achieved in either Step 1, or Step 2 of the Roadmap. It is recommended that you go for this one during Step 2, as you will be able to manage the race restarts better, and be able to use flashback if needed.
Once you cross the line first in the tenth race this trophy will pop.
![]() ![]() Complete 10 One-Shot Qualifying sessions |
One shot qualifying can be a gamble, but in my opinion it is the best way to determine the grid.
It does not matter where you finish this session, as long as you complete it. This can be done in any mode where it is activated.
![]() ![]() Win at both Spa-Francorchamps and Sochi Autodrom in Grand Prix. |
The trophy description does pretty much all the explanation needed; however, should you need a bit more guidance, you will need to head to Solo → Grand Prix, then pick the relevant tracks and car. You do not need to participate in Qualifying if you do not wish (although you may need to in order to plug away at Qualifying Master).
Don’t forget to set the length of race to the minimum (3 laps), and lower the difficulty if you are having trouble.
![]() ![]() Complete 10 Clean Online races (excluding career) |
Can you be a clean driver? This is one of the hardest challenges the game has to offer, yet all it really needs is for you to drive slowly!
This can easily be boosted within Invite Only, if you are struggle with achieving this through normal online play.
![]() ![]() Take a photo in Photo Mode on the USA, Brazil, Mexico & Canada circuits |
You will need to participate in an event on the aforementioned tracks, then enter the phot mode whilst out on track.
To do this press the , then
. After this I actually took a screenshot just to be sure, however I believe all you need to do is enter the photo mode on these tracks for it to trigger.
This can be done in any game mode, and the trophy will pop when you enter phot mode on the last track.
![]() ![]() Develop first R&D upgrade in any department |
Development is a major factor to getting that improvement from your team, and car.
You will be awarded this trophy once you have received a successful delivery of a new part for the first time.
![]() ![]() Adapt an upgrade whilst within its Regulation Change warning period |
Towards the back end of a career playthrough you will receive a warning that the regulations will be changing, and that some of your parts would not be allowed within the next season.
In order to achieve this trophy you basically need to go back into R&D and redevelop a part that has already been received. The parts that need adapting are highlighted within the game, so it is clear which ones will net you this trophy.
![]() ![]() Successfully develop a component using Rush option |
When developing parts within the R&D department between races you will be given the option for a standard development, or a rushed one.
For this trophy you will need to select the slightly more expensive option to rush the development. This also comes with a risk of a higher failure rate of the developed part however.
The trophy will be obtained once the part has been delivered by the factory.
![]() ![]() Complete a medium length F2 GP event (Feature & Sprint) |
Set up in GP2 as per below and go on to win a couple of short races.
You’re looking at roughly 7 laps (Feature Race), and 5 laps (Sprint Race) for this one, depending on the track you pick.
The cars handle a little differently, but again there is no issues using Flashbacks and lowering the difficulty to suit.
![]() ![]() Complete a season in Two Player Career |
Two Player Career must be done online, and with a minimum of 10 races. During this career you and your partner are able to retire from races in order to progress onto the next.
You just have to be sure to finish one race for a trophy, and then you can skip your way through the other nine.
Just be sure that the lead player selects the skip to race option from the Workstation.
![]() ![]() Reach a Team Acclaim level of 20 in My Team mode |
You may not reach this level by the end of your first season in My Team, as your level is raised based on your results on the track. This includes practice sessions that you may not have bothered participating in during the playthrough.
Just keep playing and your teams level will raise to this point eventually.
![]() ![]() Earn 15 Trophies for the Trophy Cabinet |
You will naturally earn a minimum of 12 trophies for your trophy cabinet as you go through the other trophies in the game.
These in game trophies are awarded for winning races/championships within a career mode, and can be accessed via the “Mail” after pressing the when in the menus themselves.
You can view how many trophies you have via the Super Licence within the same menu.
![]() ![]() Win a 25% race in wet conditions |
The trophy description does pretty much all the explanation needed; however, should you need a bit more guidance, you will need to head to Solo → Grand Prix, then pick the relevant Weather. In this case you will need to ensure that the Quick Weather is set to Very Wet.
You do not need to participate in Qualifying if you do not wish (although you may need to in order to plug away at Qualifying Master).
Don’t forget to set the length of race to Medium, and lower the difficulty if you are having trouble.
![]() ![]() Hire an acclaim level 15 or higher Driver in My Team |
You will be able to swap out your second driver at the end of the first season. Make sure to do this prior to starting a new season, as it can only be done at the end of seasons.
You will be able to afford this driver, as long as you’ve won the championship, as is your goal for the first My Team season. Your team acclaim should also be at a level already for this driver to also be interested.
If they are not then you may need to play through a second season in My Team to raise the levels.
Nice trophy guide for F1 2021. Platinum time baby
