Introduction

Welcome to the Music Racer trophy guide!
Music Racer from Sometimes You is a dynamic rhythm game – “Rush along futuristic, neon tracks. Gather beats, catch the rhythm. The racetrack is created in real time based on the game’s music tracks. The speed and mood of each run are determined by the compositions chosen. Obstacles and awards are generated from the music. Get into the rhythm and collect as many points as possible.”

Roadmap

Step 1: 1 Star, 2 Star & 3 Star any Track
During this step you will want to learn the ropes of the game, and focus on getting a single run which results in 2 stars, plus one that results in a 3 star rating. It is not too difficult to do, and should take you no time at all to get used to it, with each tile collected results in 2 points gained.

You will need to ensure you play on “ZEN”, as there will be no obstacles for you to deal with. You will automatically obtain a 1 Star rating on the first track by simply staying in the middle lane. You may need to do this once, depending on how you go about Step 2.

If playing the first track “Wait for Love”, you will need to achieve more than the following points –

2 Star – 500 Points approx (250 Tiles Collected)
3 Star – 650 Points approx (325 Tiles Collected)

You’ll be earning these trophies:
One star race
Two star race
Three star race

Step 2: Decide how you want to play the game
There are 3 different ways that you can achieve the Platinum here, with all 3 varying in effort required, and time required. You need to collect a total of 413,000 points if you are going to do this game legit, or at minimum 100,000 if you are going to utilise save manipulation to achieve the platinum.

I will outline all three ways below –

Most Effort / Shortest Time – 4 hours approx
- This would involve actually playing the game, and collecting the most amount of tiles every single run.
  You can utilise save manipulation playing this way if you wish; just reach 100,000 points total, back up you save, buy Vehicles/Levels, then reload you save.
Medium Effort / Medium Time – 8 hours approx
- This would involve a turbo controller (or similar), and running the first tack over and over until you have 100,000 points. With the button on turbo press it will restart over and over.
  Once you have you the relevant amount of points you can utilise save manipulation to buy the Vehicles/Levels, and obtain all the trophies relatively quickly.
Least Effort / Longest Time – 24 hours approx
- This would involve a turbo controller (or similar), and running the first tack over and over until you have 413,000 points. With the button on turbo press it will restart over and over.
  Once you have you the relevant amount of points you can simply buy the Vehicles/Levels, and obtain all the trophies really quickly.

During this step you’ll earn all the remaining trophies, including Music Racer Platinum.
