Introduction:

Welcome to the Akinofa Trophy Guide!
Developed by Pixel Lantern, Akinofa is a lovely side scrolling shooter that will grab your attention from the minute you start playing.
Trophy wise we are not looking at a difficult list, but I highly recommend you play this game not just for trophies.

Available for HK$ 38.00/£3.99/$4.99 in the relative PSN Stores, Pixel Lantern have got it right between the price and the length of time you will be spending on your hunting journey.

Roadmap:

Step 1: Bank 100 Coins – Purchase “Gold” Upgrade
Coins are only “Banked” after you collect them and then die. Collecting 100 will take 4-5 playthroughs of the first level, so once you reach the “Shop” at the end of the level simply die and restart.
Once you have 100 Coins purchase the “Gold” Upgrade on the Game Over screen.

You’ll be earning these trophies:
Silver Collector I
Gold Destroyer I
Gold Destroyer II
Silver Survivor I
Gold Collector II
Gold Stronger

Step 2: Replay Level One – Purchase 5 items / Die
For the final step you will simply need to replay the first level and make purchases in the shop at the level. If you purchased the Gold upgrade as per Step 1 you would potentially be able to buy 2 items each time.
Once you have bought 5 items keep replaying Level 1 and dying until you have both Gold Collector III & Gold Survivor III.

During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
Gold Survivor II
Gold Survivor III
Gold Collector III
Gold Destroyer III
Gold Spender I
Gold Spender II
Gold Spender III
40-platinum Fish of the green flames

Trophy Guide

Fish of the green flames
Unlock all other trophies

Congrats, you unlocked all other trophies.

Survivor I Silver
Die 3 times

See Gold Survivor III.

Survivor II Gold
Die 6 times

See Gold Survivor III.

Survivor III Gold
Die 12 times

There is not much to this trophy if you are going for the quickest possible Platinum route. If by chance you have not achieved this trophy by the time you have obtained all others, then simply restart Level 1 over and over, killing yourself at the very beginning by heading into the walls.

Collector I Silver
Collect 20 coins

See Gold Collector III.

Collector II Gold
Collect 100 coins

See Gold Collector III.

Collector III Gold
Collect 250 coins

Level 1 will net you around 20-25 Coins per run as standard. It doesn’t matter if you “bank” these coins, or you use them in the shop at the end of the Level. You simply need to collect 250 total coins.

If you purchase the “Gold” Upgrade as per the Roadmap above you will obtain around 45-50 Coins within Level 1, which  speeds up your small grind for Gold Spender III.

Destroyer I Gold
Defeat 50 enemies

See Gold Destroyer III.

Destroyer II Gold
Defeat 150 enemies

See Gold Destroyer III.

Destroyer III Gold
Defeat 300 enemies

You will come across 80 enemies in Level 1, so this will come naturally as you play the level multiple times. Some of the enemies take more hits than others, but as long as you remember to use your limited attack you should have no issues killing them all.

Spender I Gold
Buy an item

See Gold Spender III.

Spender II Gold
Buy 3 items

See Gold Spender III.

Spender III Gold
Buy 5 items

“Items” are purchased at the end of the level via the shop. To purchase an item, you will have needed to collect enough coins throughout that level and survived until the end, and If you have enough coins to make a purchase you will need to make your way onto the item and shoot it.

Items range from 20-50 coins per purchase, however as outlined in the Gold Collector III, you should gather roughly 20-25 coins each run on Level 1 without any upgrades. If you cannot afford to purchase an item you can kill yourself and “bank” the coins.

Stronger Gold
Buy an upgrade

Upgrades can be purchased via the Game Over screen and range from 100-300 coins for the first purchase of that ability. For this trophy you are free to purchase whatever upgrade you wish, however as outlined in the Roadmap you would benefit from purchasing the “Gold” upgrade for 100 Coins.
