Introduction

Welcome to the Rookie Knight trophy guide!
From y-zo studio & 2dragontails; “Fast-paced 2D action-platformer where you step into the boots of a young knight on his very first adventure. Run, jump, wall slide, and strike down enemies as you explore vibrant biomes filled with danger and discovery.“

Roadmap

Note: The game features Cross-Save functionality from PS4 > PS5. All trophies will auto-pop when you import the PS4 save into the PS5 menu.

Step 1: Complete 20 Levels + Miscellaneous
This is a straightforward 2D platformer where each stage can be cleared in a matter of seconds. You’ll be making your way through the levels using your double jump and slam abilities while defeating the creatures that try to halt your progress. Most trophies come naturally as long as you defeat each enemy type from above at least once, this includes crabs, shielded knights, birds, and finally jellyfish, which only appear from level 21 onwards. You’ll also need to deliberately die at least once for a separate trophy.

A couple of actions are easy to overlook; attempting to attack a shielded knight from the front is required, and in level 13 you must take the shortest route, though this is quite difficult to miss. With these small details handled, the platinum will come quickly and smoothly.
