Introduction

Welcome to the MotoGP™24 trophy guide!
From Milestone S.r.l., “Challenge your abilities in MotoGP™, Moto2™ and Moto3™ categories, and immerse yourself in tterhe exhilarating journey of the 2024 campaign. Experience the thrill of official rosters and tracks exclusive to MotoGP™24!

Roadmap

Step 1: Tutorials / Time Trial
Use this as a tutorial, or a practice to get used to any new mechanics this years game may have. Having only needing to complete 5 “valid laps” in Time Trial this year is a major adjustment compared to previous years, and will have you moving onto the next step in no time.

You’ll be earning these trophies:
Bronze First steps
Bronze School is out
Bronze Always on the ball

Step 2: Multiplayer
A simple multiplayer once again that can be boosted with one other. Only one player actually has to race, so self boosting is also possible here. You’ll also need to ensure you “Complete a multiplayer race wearing your custom helmet”, reach the podium 3 times, and you’re all done after completing 25 races total.

While you are looking at the multiplayer trophies take the opportunity to grab a second controller for Bronze Sofa rivals.

During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
Bronze Sofa rivals
Bronze Fast fashion
Silver Nice view from here
Silver The world is all mine

Step 3: Custom Championship

You will need to add 3 races to this championship as a minimum, and you can adjust the race settings to skip qualifying, with 3 lap races also. You do not need to win any of the races, simply complete the championship.

During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
Bronze Globetrotting

Step 4: Challenges
MotoGP™ Academy features challenges that involve achieving a specific sector time, or lap time on each circuit. You’ll only need to achieve the Bronze timing within 50 of these challenges, so no need to waste your time trying to get the Gold.

During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
Bronze At one with the bike
Silver Efforts rewarded
Gold Phenomenon of motorbikes

Step 5: Career Mode

This is a fairly short step due to the fact that you are able to select a trimmed down version of the season (Short Season), which only requires you to participate in 11 races. You will need to start off in Moto 3 as normal with these, and build your way up from there making sure you win the Moto 3 & Moto 2 Championships on your way.

As default the AI Difficulty stands at 45% so you may wish to change this in the Race Settings when you first start out, and while you’re there make sure to turn the Race Length to 25% (minimum). You can also turn off Tyre Wear & Fuel Consumption this year as it’s not need for a trophy.

You will need at least one and half seasons in MotoGP in order to obtain Silver Point of reference.

There are a few other things worth noting here –

  • Reach Qualifying 2 after participating in Qualifying 1
  • Obtain Pole Position in Qualifying 3 times
  • Win 10 Races without using Rewind (Can be done in Grand Prix, or Championship).
  • [MotoGP] Complete a valid lap with the two proposed bikes during a Test session in Career mode.
  • [MotoGP] Become manufacturer Leader in Career mode.

During this step you’ll earn these trophies, as well as a decent amount of the individual track related one:
Bronze A new adventure
Bronze Triple win

Bronze Team’s rising star
Bronze Double effort
Bronze Everyone in class
Silver Moto3™ Championship victory
Silver Nothing but perfection
Silver Rider of the day
Silver Moto2™ Championship victory
Silver Point of reference
Silver Racing legend
Gold MotoGP™ Championship victory

Step 6: Miscellaneous

There are a few miscellaneous trophies that you may be outstanding by the time you reach the end of your career, however these will be dependant on the settings you used throughout your playthrough. Check out the individual trophy descriptions if you are missing any of the below.

During this step you’ll earn the following trophies:
Bronze Victory at Termas
Bronze Did you bring an umbrella?
Bronze Perfect weekend
Bronze Collect them all

Silver Clean riding
40-platinum MotoGP™24

First steps
Complete a lap during your first track trial.

One of the very first things you’ll be able to do in the game is a “Track Trial”. This comes along as part of the setup of the game and you’re given four options of control difficulty to choose from; once picked, complete a single lap of the track and the trophy will pop at the end.

Fast fashion
Complete an Online Race wearing a custom helmet.

When you enter the Multiplayer Lobby you will have the option to select Official Rider, or Official Team. Selecting an Official Team will result in your custom rider participating in the race, and therefore your custom helmet.

You will need to “Share” & “Apply” your original creation in order for it to be available online. This can be done whilst saving any changes within Customisation > Appearance > Rider > Helmet > Stock > (Helmet Editor).

Did you bring an umbrella?
Win a Flag to Flag Race in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.

You can combine this into one of the Grand Prix needed for Bronze Collect them all. You will need to ensure that you set the Race Length to at least 50% otherwise this will not trigger. Weather conditions need to be Variable, and Forced weather transition to “From rainy to cloudy”, all the other settings as you please.

When it begins to rain (or dry out) during a race you will automatically be called into the pits to exchange bike and then go racing again, and when this triggers you’ll just need to let the action play out and watch for when you’re ready to take control of the bike.

This can be obtained in both MotoGP™ & Moto2™, but not Moto3™.

Globetrotting
Complete an Official MotoGP™ or a Custom Championship in Championship mode.

You will need to add 3 races to this championship as a minimum, and you can adjust the race settings to skip qualifying, with 3 lap races also. You do not need to win any of the races, simply complete the championship.

I bend, I don’t break
Race in Q1 and qualify for Q2 in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.

In order to obtain access to Qualifying 2, you will first need to fall into the Qualifying 1 session, and then set the fastest time there. This can easily be done by not participating in any of the Free Practice sessions, and therefore automatically placing you into Qualifying 1.

Set the fastest laps in both Qualifying sessions and you’ll get this one.

Triple win
Clinch Poles on 3 different tracks in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.

Setting the fastest lap in Qualifying will get you that coveted Pole Position.

As with all trophies in this game, you can lower the AI difficulty to 20%, if you are having any troubles.

Perfect weekend
Clinch Poles and win a Sprint Race and a Race in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.

It is best to do this in a single Grand Prix, as you will only need to complete a single race with this mode enabled.

Within Career you will have the option to enable Sprint Races when you first move into the MotoGP™ category, with the option given when you first start out each season – Eventually a Sprint Race will come along, and then you’ll need to ensure you participate within each valid session and be the fastest. You will however then have to complete the rest of the season with this enabled, therefore making it a lot longer.

Team’s rising star
Obtain Top Rider Status in Career mode.

See Silver Racing legend.

Sofa rivals
Complete a Race in Split Screen mode.

A second controller is needed for this one. head to Multiplayer > Local and proceed to complete a single race. You can lower the difficulty if you wish (it doesn’t matter where you finish), and of course make sure you lower the Race Length to 3 Laps.

Always on the ball
Complete 5 consecutive valid laps in Time Trial mode.

Completing 5 consecutive valid laps in Time Trial, is actually fairly tricky for a newcomer, as with the slightest movement off of the track, or a crash, your lap will become invalid.

There is also a little trick to keep your streak going, as you are able to pause and “Restart Flying Lap” if you do happen to crash, or go off of the circuit. This will keep your streak alive, and help you on your way to achieving this.

School is out
Pass all the Tutorials.

Within the Single Player tab you can select Tutorials from the Training section, and within here you will be tasked with completing 5 separate tutorials –

  1. Game Experience – Completed with Bronze First steps
  2. Flag to Flag – Enter the Pits and complete the first sector without crashing
  3. Long Lap Penalty – Race the final sector and serve the LLP within 40 seconds
  4. Ride-height device (RHD) activation – The RHD can be activated by pressing and is used in a similar fashion to the DRS within Formula. Activation makes the bike run lower to the ground, and therefore is less wind resistant when speeding down the straights. Activate this when prompted and complete a lap within 1:50:00
  5. Manual start – Hold the clutch in with and then release when the lights go out. You’ll need to complete the first sector, but you’ll not need to be in first place when you do.

Reach the podium in 3 different Online Races.

Unfortunately the MotoGP games do not seem to have a massive online appeal. This is truly unfortunate, as there never really seems to be too many people online at any one time. This is a bonus for this trophy however, as you should frequently comes across a lobby where there is only a couple of other people racing.

If you’re self boosting, then this will come without even thinking about it.

The world is all mine Gold
Complete 25 Online Races.

This can be boosted with a partner in Private Matches, and only one needs to finish the race in order for it to count. You can lower the race distance to 15% (3 laps) to make this slightly quicker.

As per the normal in these multiplayer ones; if you are looking to get this done as quick as possible keep racing round the Sachsenring (Germany), as this has the quicker lap times. You can expect to spend around 2.5 hours on this one alone.

Boosting is possible between PS5 & PS4 this year as cross play functionality has been added.

Clean riding Gold
Win 10 Races without using Rewind in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.

This one is actually more tricky than you may expect, as you would be surprised how much you would naturally grab that button to rewind as soon as you crash…

Just make sure you have this in the back of your mind as you play through, and resist that urge if you have a 5 second lead or so.

Rewinding in Practice & Qualifying is still ok for this one.

Phenomenon of motorbikes Gold
Get at least the Bronze in 50 challenges in MotoGP™ Academy mode.

There are 105 “challenges” available within Single Player -> Training -> MotoGP™ Academy which involve achieving a specific sector time, or lap time on each circuit. You only need to achieve the Bronze timing within 50 of these challenges, so no need to waste your time trying to get the Gold.

It is also quicker just to do the 4 individual sector challenges, with the full lap one being skipped.

MotoGP™ Championship victory Gold
Win the MotoGP™ Championship in Career mode.

You will achieve the Championship trophies in each category when it is mathematically impossible for someone else to pass you in the championship, and the trophy will pop at the end of the race that gets you to that point. This can be done in Short, or Long Season.

You will need to ensure you work your way through the 3 categories starting at Moto3™, if you are trying to optimise your playthroughs, and you will be given the opportunity to state your desire to move after the fourth race (if playing Short season), so make sure you do choose to move otherwise you may be stuck in your current team for another season.
