Welcome to the Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart trophy guide!
From 3DClouds & Outright Games; “Race around Cretacia in a prehistoric kart championship for up to 4 players of all ages, where you can play as your favorite dino friends and even bump into the mysterious Gigantosaurus himself!“

Roadmap

Step 1: Tutorial
Firstly let’s find out the basics of the game by completing the Tutorial. This will guide you through the basics of how to control, drive etc.

You’ll be earning these trophies:
A different Strategy
A new driver

Step 2: Adventure Mode
You will need to win all 15 races in this mode for Unbeatable over the course of 3 different “Cups”. All races can be done on easy difficulty here, and should not offer too much of a problem.

During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
True racer
Hi Giganto!
Collector
Drift-osaur
Master
Just getting started
First Victory
Clear the way!
Unstoppable
Like a pterodactyl

Step 3: Split-Screen
Both split-screen trophies can be earned within a single race, however you will need the ability to connect 4 people to the game. This can be done via a mixture of remote-play &/or 4 controllers if you have them.

During this step you’ll earn the following trophies:
Challenger
Dino Friends

Step 4: Skins
This is where you will send most of your time, as you will need to unlock all 8 “Skins” via winning single races over and over. See the trophy description for some more information.

During this step you’ll earn the following trophies:
Stylish
Treasure Finder

Tips and Strategies

You will want to hold the whole time, and spend a lot of your time drifting with the to give yourself a boost from a successful drift.

There is an “auto-drive” however it is not recommended to use it as using this may not allow you to obtain these trophies.

Everything can be done on the easiest difficulty.

Treasure Finder Unlock All trophies

Unlock All trophies

Unstoppable Win 10 Races

You will earn this naturally on your way to Unbeatable. Any races won in free race event also count for this trophy.

First Victory Win the first race in single player

You will earn this at the same time as Just getting started, and naturally on your way to Unbeatable.

Collector Unlock all characters

You will earn this at the same time as  Unbeatable.

Explorer Unlock all tracks

You will earn this at the same time as  Unbeatable.

Stylish Unlock all vehicle’s skins

There are 8 skins to unlock, and they are done so for every 3 wins within the single race arena. These wins can be done on the same track over and over, however it easier/quicker to add 12 tracks and play through them, then repeat again with a further 12.

You can also do all 24 needed races on easy difficulty.

Challenger Win a race in split-screen

See Dino Friends.

Dino Friends Win a 4 player split-screen race

Both this and Challenger can be earned within a single race, however you will need the ability to connect 4 people to the game. This can be done via a mixture of remote-play &/or 4 controllers if you have them.

Booster Step on a boost pad 30 time

Can be earned as early as your second race, as the booster pads are placed around each track a number of times. As with any kart racer like this you will want to drive over as many as these as you can to ensure you are completing the race as quickly as possible.

True racer Drift for 5 seconds in a row

Holding will make your vehicle drift, which can then be controlled by gently rocking the steering from left to right. To get this trophy you will need to perform a drift that lasts long enough to get the sparks coming from under the vehicle.

Drift-osaur Drift for 30 seconds in a race

This will probably be obtained within your very first race, as you will want to spend a lot of time mastering the drift to ensure you are frequently getting the boost from a successful drift.

Drift over Cretacia Accumulate 10 minutes of total drift

This will probably be obtained within the first 6-7 races, as you will want to spend a lot of time mastering the drift to ensure you are frequently getting the boost from a successful drift.

Clear the way! Find a shortcut

You will come across your first shortcut on the left-hand side at the very start of the track Canyon Rush (which is the second track within the Savannah Cup in Adventure). You will also have the opportunity to earn this on a number of different tracks whilst playing through all the Adventure Cups.

Hi Giganto! Come across Giganto

You will find Giganto wondering around a number of tracks and in order to obtain this trophy you are required to drive into it whenever you have the opportunity too.

I earned this on the Jungle Tour Track during my Jungle Adventure Cup run, however had come across Giganto during my Savannah Adventure Cup.

Like a pterodactyl Fly for 5 minutes totally

You should earn this naturally whilst going for other trophies, however if you want to get this out the way quickly, go into Race > Race and keep replaying Savannah Tour.

A different Strategy Use a Skill for the first time

This will be earned as part of the Tutorial, and is unmissable. You’ll be using the skills frequently throughout the game, as they are your “power-ups”.

A new driver Finish The Tutorial

You will be prompted to complete this when you first enter the game. If you choose to skip it you will be able to re-access it via the Race selection from the Main Menu.

Master Use all skills

This will come naturally throughout your playthrough. Your “skills” are your power-ups and are collected by driving through the blocks that are located around the track. Once you have collected one make sure to utilise it with the button.

Just getting started Win The first race in adventure

Hopefully this will be obtained when you complete your very first race. It is unmissable on your way to Unbeatable.

Among the best Win all the adventure races in third position or better

Unbeatable Win all the adventure races in first position

There are 3 “Cups”, or Championships to participate in within the Adventure Mode, and you will need to win all 5 races within each to obtain this trophy. You can complete the Adventures on Easy difficulty, which can be selected prior to starting each Cup.
