Introduction

Welcome to the Hatup trophy guide!
Developed by Naoka Games, and published to consoles by EastAsiaSoft, Hatup is a precision platformer that will have you jumping and dashing your way to the platinum.

Roadmap

Step 1: Complete 30 Levels
There are 30 levels to complete and all trophies are related to completing a certain level, and as you progress you will unlock the next until you have finished the game.

In order to complete the level you must make your way to the exit whilst wearing the hat (simple enough), however as you progress the levels will get harder.

Up until about level 21 they are all pretty simple; just collect the hat, and sometimes a key, in order to unlock the way to the exit. You will be taught the ropes by double jumping, and gaining the ability to dash, in order to give you all you need to complete the final 10 levels.

From level 21 onwards you will need to collect multiple keys in each level in a specific order, so that you can reach the next key.

You can die 3 times in each level, with the 4th death placing you right back to the beginning of it, so take your time and work out what is needed for the next move. Once you have finished the 30 levels the game will end, and you will have another platinum.

Tips and Strategies

Biggest tip is to take your time. There is no point rushing something as there is no time limit to completing a level on the normal difficulty.

You are also advised to scan the level prior to starting it to work out your route. You may be closer to the hat at the start, but you may not be able to collect a key with the hat on as the landscape changes depending on whether you are wearing the hat or not.
