Introduction

Welcome to the Headbangers in Holiday Hell trophy guide!
Headbangers is a twin stick shooter where you have to rescue your fellow metal heads from Santa and his elves! So go on a rampage and get an easy platinum!

Roadmap

Step 1: Rescue Headbangers
The first real step I’d say is just working on getting 25 people rescued. This is easily the longest trophy. If you go into options and then the game menu, you can set the auto aim to “aimbot” to make everything easier, especially beating a level without dying. During this step, don’t forget to use your ultimate ability whenever you can!

Step 2: Chain Reaction
Chances are you won’t have this trophy yet. It is the worst in the list to get as the explosions can be so big. There are tips in the trophy description, and after you get it, you’ll have this platinum!

Platinum Headbanger Get all other trophies

Get all other trophies

Give me more firepower! Unlock a new weapon

In the levels, you’ll find boxes with weapons in them that cost 800 points. Once you have enough, buy one of these and you get this trophy.

Packing a punch Upgrade a weapon

After you die, you can choose to start a new run or go to the upgrade menu. Go to the upgrade menu and upgrade a gun once you have enough credits and get this trophy.

Untouchable Complete a stage without getting hit

To make this trophy easier, go to the options menu, then game, and turn aim assist to “aimbot”. Simply beat any level without getting hit and you get this trophy! It’s especially easy when you get a level when you have to rescue one person. Just run right to the exit afterwards.

He was an angry elf Kill an elf

Once you get your first kill, this is yours.

Rex approved Kill 25 enemies with a water pistol

The water pistol is your starting weapon at the beginning of every run. Simply kill 25 enemies with it and get this trophy.

Elfmaggedon Kill 50 enemies

This comes easily and pretty much without trouble, considering you need way more than 50 kills.

Smells like burnt turkey Kill 25 enemies with a flamethrower

When your ultimate bar fills up and you can press triangle to initiate it, it brings out the flamethrower. Kill 25 enemies with it and get this trophy.

Alice in Chain-reaction Kill an elf with a chain reaction

The easiest way I can describe to get this, is start a new run and go to the garage in level one. Don’t pick up any gas cans. Now go into the house and get an elf to follow you. Blow up a gas canister so it blows up anything around it, and the other explosions have to kill the elf. If you fail, pause, go to the main menu, and mash to get back into the game quickly.

Rescue service Save 25 hostages

After you rescue 25 Headbangers, which is the point of every level, you’ll get this trophy. You’ll just need to do multiple runs.

Video killed the Christmas star Kill an elf watching TV

In some levels, you’ll see a TV around. You can interact with it by pressing square. Do this and when an elf walks in front of it, they’ll start watching it. When hearts start flying from their head, shoot them and kill them to get this trophy.

Bird or a plane? Blow up 5 enemies

When you start getting pick ups off the ground, you’ll eventually find gas cans. Switch to them using the d-pad and throw them at enemies with , and when it hits the enemy, it’ll blow up. Blow up five enemies with them and you get this trophy.
