Welcome to the Behind Closed Doors: A Developer’s Tale trophy guide!
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a Game Dev? Well, in Behind Closed Doors: A Developer’s Tale you’ll get to experience a little bit of that. Join Ethan at an unprofessional indie company, trying to support his pregnant wife!
Roadmap
The game is divided into 2 parts that are worlds apart. Discover what it’s like to be that Indie Dev in the first part, and then experience something unexpected in the second.
Below you will find a full detailed walkthrough, including both endings, that will get you through the game, and achieve that Platinum Trophy.

Slime Garden
– Up – Collect Weapon / Aim R Stick & 
Shoot
– Up – Survive Stage 1 by moving in circles (You do not need to kill, but it helps) – Trophy Stage 1
– Up – Collect Weapon
– Up – Survive Stage 2 by moving in circles (You do not need to kill, but it helps) – Trophy Stage 2
– Up – Collect Weapon
– Up – Survive Stage 3 by moving in circles (You do not need to kill, but it helps) – Trophy Stage 3
– Up – Collect Weapon
– Up – Survive Stage 4 by moving in circles (You do not need to kill, but it helps) – Trophy Stage 4
– Up, Right, Up – Collect Crystal – Trophy Get the Crystal
– Boss Fight – The boss can only shoot Horizontal & Vertical, so just stay diagonally onto it and shoot – Trophy Familiar Friend
– Up – Teleport to other dimension / Exhaust dialogue (Tap to speed up text)
The Caves
– You can shoot through walls, kill all the Bats you see (), and collect as many coins as you can. If you die we will respawn at the nearest checkpoint, with all previously Killed/Collected items still valid
– Keep heading Right/Up as much as you can. I got to the Boss having killed 92 Bats, and with 119 Coins, so there are plenty around – Trophy Greedy & Exterminator
– Boss Fight – This boss will shoot both Horizontal/Vertical & Diagonal. Simply stand on the platform infront of it and jump over the Horizontal shot (If you die the boss’s energy will not replenish) – Trophy Round 2
– Right – Pick up staff – Trophy Get the Staff
– Right – Enter Portal / Exhaust dialogue (Tap to speed up text)
Winterland
– Aim R Stick & Shoot (Hold) – Kill all the Fire Skulls
– Head Up, Right & follow the cleared path across the Bridge (For more enemies)
– Head Down back across the Bridge and follow the cleared path Right, then Up.
– Head across the Bridge, then Left across another one / Follow cleared path left – Trophy Pyromancer (Make sure you have this before the next step)
– When you reach a Wall head Down, then Enter Cabin
– Left – Exhaust dialogue (Tap to speed up text) – Pick up Hilt – Trophy Get the Hilt
– Right – Enter Portal
Final Boss
– Up – Boss Fight – Keep in one place and circle the reticle around your character whilst holding . Your laser will kill all enemies – Trophy Final Boss
– Up – Open Door / Talk to Lost Soul / Kill/Save – Trophy Was it the right thing to do? / Never ending loop
– Pause / Quit to Main Menu / Chapter Select / Final Boss
– Up – Boss Fight – Keep in one place and circle the reticle around your character whilst holding . Your laser will kill all enemies
– Up – Open Door / Talk to Lost Soul / Kill/Save – Trophy Was it the right thing to do? / Never ending loop & Behind Closed Doors Platinum
