Introduction

Welcome to the Football Cup 2022 trophy guide!
Developed & Published by Inlogic Games & Jandusoft; this lightweight football game is a nice easy platinum that will only take a few hours to complete.

The description in the PlayStation Store mentions “live and breathe the beautiful game recreated with unparalleled realism of futbol!”. The game itself is not quite on par with the description, however for the price it’s not a bad little entry level football game.

Roadmap

Step 1: Complete the Basics
You will need to complete this step first on you platinum journey, and it serves as an introduction to the game. Shoot, Pass & Move to complete this part of the game, before you will be able to move on.

You’ll be earning these trophies:
Pass the ball
Tackle a player
Trick a player
Score a goal
Complete Basic training

Step 2: Career
The career events can be played out in any order, and are unlocked once the basic training has been completed. You will also be required to earn some stars to qualify for the tournament, before being able to play the actual matches. These stars are obtained by completing challenged based objectives once more, just like in the basic training.

During your time here you will need to –

• Win the Champions Cup – 7 Matches (Some from Half-Time)
• Win Europa – 7 Matches
• Win the Copa del Sur – 8 Matches
• Win a Tournament – 7 Matches
• Win a Season – 9 Matches

During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
Shoot a corner
Win a match
Win a Champions Cup match

Step 3: Quick Match
You may not need this step, but it is highly unlikely that you will be awarded a penalty within the Career mode. All you will need to do is to get through a single quick match, ensuring that it ends in a draw and you will go straight to a penalty shootout.

During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
Score a penalty kick
Stop a penalty kick

Step 4: Daily Challenge Mode
This will consist of further challenged based objectives, as you try to work your way up the leagues. Complete the 5 challenges each day and build up those points.

During this step you’ll earn the following trophies:
Complete a Daily Challenge
Unlock a game mode
Rank up in Daily Challenge mode
Reach Diamond division in Daily Challenge mode
Complete all trophies

Tips and Strategies

During the Match Preview you have the option to set a time limit on the match itself. Setting the Match Length to “2 MIN” is plenty time to be able to win each match, so there is no need to do any longer matches.

When it comes to the Daily Challenge mode, you can utilise the manual adjustment of the systems internal clock to manipulate the countdown. You also do not even have to close the game when doing so.

Pass the ball Pass the ball in a match

The first time you successfully pass the ball to a teammate within a match you will be awarded this trophy. Passing is done by using either the , or whilst directionally aiming towards another player on your team.

Trick a player Trick a player in a match

The first time you successfully trick a player within a match you will be awarded this trophy. A trick is performed by tapping the whilst directionally aiming around an opponent.

Tackle a player Tackle a player in a match

The first time you successfully tackle an opponent within a match you will be awarded this trophy. Tackling is done by using either the , or whilst directionally aiming towards an opponent.

Score a penalty kick Score a penalty kick in a match

Don’t even bother worrying about this within the Career mode, as it is very unlikely that you will be awarded, or you will concede a penalty. The only guaranteed way to do this within Career is to let a game finish up in a draw, which in turn will send it to penalties.

You can however grab this and Stop a penalty kick within quick match.
Just ensure the match ends in a draw and you will end up in a shootout, if you are looking for the easiest possible way.

Don’t even bother worrying about this within the Career mode, as it is very unlikely that you will be awarded, or you will concede a penalty. The only guaranteed way to do this within Career is to let a game finish up in a draw, which in turn will send it to penalties.

You can however grab this and Score a penalty kick within a quick match.
Just ensure the match ends in a draw and you will end up in a shootout, if you are looking for the easiest possible way.

Score a goal Score a goal in a match

The ‘keepers within this game are pretty decent, therefore you are advised to simply trick your way around the keeper, rather than shooting from distance.

The first time you successfully score a goal within a match you will be awarded this trophy.

Shoot a corner Shoot a corner

Awarded the first time you take a corner. Corners are pretty rare things to get in this game, so it’s recommended that when you are winning a game that you just dribble around by the opponents by-line and hope that you get tackled, and the ball goes behind.

You can also obtain this trophy within a quick match, which may be the easiest thing to do at the end of the day, as the actual result would not matter.

You will have 5 challenges available every 24 hours. Simply complete you first one, with any score, and you will be awarded this trophy.

Awarded the first time you win a match within the Champions Cup Tournament.

Win a Copa del Sur match Win a Copa del Sur match

Awarded the first time you win a match within the Copa del Sur Tournament.

Win an Europa match Win an Europa match

Awarded the first time you win a match within the Europa Tournament.

Win a Tournament match Win a Tournament match

Awarded the first time you win a match within the Tournament Tournament.

Win a Season match Win a Season match

Awarded the first time you win a match within the Season Tournament.

Unlock a game mode Unlock a game mode

Once you have completed all 5 daily challenges within a single day you will unlock a game mode to play, should you wish too.

Complete Basic training Complete Basic training

Work your way though the Basic Training completing all necessary objectives, and you will have this trophy in no time. There is nothing to worry about here, as all objectives can be completed as many times as you need.

Win the Champions Cup Win the Champions Cup

You will be required to earn some Stars prior to being able to play the actual matches, which are obtained by completing challenged based objectives once more.

Once you have obtained 14 stars or more within the challenges you will have “qualified” for the Tournament Phase of the Champions Cup, and you will now be able to play some matches.

During this one you start at the Round of 16, so you will need to defeat 4 opponents in order to successfully win the Tournament. Prior to entering the match keep an eye out of status of the said match, as sometimes you will be going into a match and may only be required to play from half time. You may also be already leading, or indeed losing the match.

If at any point you lose the match do not worry as the game allows you to go straight back into the tournament where you left off; you will not have to qualify once more and start over.

Win the Copa del Sur Win the Copa del Sur

You will be required to earn some Stars prior to being able to play the actual matches, which are obtained by completing challenged based objectives once more.

Once you have obtained 16 stars or more within the challenges you will have “qualified” for the Tournament Phase of the Copa del Sur, and you will now be able to play some matches.

During this one you start at Round 1, and you will need to defeat 8 opponents in order to successfully win the Tournament.

If at any point you lose the match do not worry as the game allows you to go straight back into the tournament where you left off; you will not have to qualify once more and start over.

Win Europa Win Europa

You will be required to earn some Stars prior to being able to play the actual matches, which are obtained by completing challenged based objectives once more.

Once you have obtained 16 stars or more within the challenges you will have “qualified” for the Tournament Phase of Europa, and you will now be able to play some matches.

During this one you start at Round 1, and you will need to defeat 7 opponents in order to successfully win the Tournament.

If at any point you lose the match do not worry as the game allows you to go straight back into the tournament where you left off; you will not have to qualify once more and start over.

Win a Tournament Win a Tournament

You will not be required to earn those stars this time before being able to play the actual matches.

During this one you start at the Round of 16, and you will need to defeat 4 opponents in order to successfully win the Tournament.

If at any point you lose the match do not worry as the game allows you to go straight back into the tournament where you left off; you will not have to qualify once more and start over.

Win a Season Win a Season

You will not be required to earn those stars this time before being able to play the actual matches.

During this one you are placed into a league style event, and you will need to finish the season with the most points in order to successfully win.

If at any point you lose the match do not worry as the game allows you to go straight back into the tournament where you left off; you will not have to qualify once more and start over.

You will need to finish within the promotion positions of the daily challenge league at the end of the specific 24 hour period. See Reach Diamond division in Daily Challenge mode for some tips.

You will need to gain promotion though these leagues by completing the 5 challenges each day. Once you have enough points to finish the 24 hour period within the promotion places, you will be awarded with a move to a higher division.

If you do not have enough points to get promoted you keep your points going into to the next day, and can add to them by completing more challenges.

The trick here is to keep advancing the days on your systems’ internal clock, once you have completed the 5 challenges. You will therefore have unlimited amount of challenges to pick up those points; you also do not need to close the game down in order for this to be effective.

As soon as you have made your way through Bronze, Silver, Gold & Platinum, you will be awarded this trophy on entry to the the Diamond division.
