Introduction

Welcome to the Bibi Blocksberg – Big Broom Race 3 trophy guide!

“Take to the air! A wild witch rally begins: Bibi and her friends leap onto their broomsticks and explore exciting worlds. With mysterious witches’ potions and turbulent aerial maneuvers, they zoom through the age of the dinosaurs, the Orient, and Transylvania. Whizz-whizz, and off they go!”

Roadmap

Step 1: Witch Rally
You will need to compete in 3 Witch Rallies, each with 4 races within. You will unlock a number of trophies without even thinking whilst playing this mode, as there are a lot of opportunities to earn most of them.
If you focus on winning all races you participate in, you will have no issues obtaining a lot of them.

In order to combine a number of trophies select the below Character & Broomstick for each Rally –
Transylvania – Bibi on Apple Pie
Orient – Flowipowi on Daisy
Age of the Dinosaurs – Sheba on Kawakasi (Unlocked after winning the Transylvania Rally)

You will most probably earn these trophies:

Step 2: Single Race
You will need to complete a couple of Single Races in order to mop up some miscellaneous trophies. Selecting Transylvania and Ghost Swamp will be your quickest route.

During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
Simply the Best
Above the Clouds
Only Flying Is Better
Looking Glass World
Xenia Superstar
Arcadia Superstar
Among the Stars
Confident of Victory

Step 3: Multiplayer
You will need a way to control 4 human players for this one. Whether that be by remote play, extra controllers, or indeed by swapping between users on your PS4.

Some of the trophies can be done with the AI, but you are going to need 4 human players for Among Friends.

During this step you’ll earn the following trophies:
Among Friends
A Strong Team
Comprehensive Victory
Broomstick Champion

Tips and Strategies

The best advice I can give is to learn to master how to get the drift and turbo activated. You can take most of the corners with a late turn in, in order to force the drift, and therefore the turbo boost after.

The game itself is quite annoying at times, as there doesn’t seem to be any consistency with the AI, and the racing style, so you may need to repeat a few races to get what you want.

Broomstick Champion Collect all trophies!

Collect all trophies!

Simply the Best Win a standard race.

Selecting Transylvania and Ghost Swamp will be your quickest route on this one, as it is a fairly simple race, with minimal obstacles.

Above the Clouds Win a race on the Cloudy Trail.

Cloudy Trail is unlocked as you progress through the Witch Rallies, and can be located by pressing on the Location selection screen.

This can be combined with the Multiplayer Trophies, if you wish.

Among the Stars Win a race in the Star Swirl.

Star Swirl is unlocked as you progress through the Witch Rallies, and can be located by pressing on the Location selection screen.

This can be combined with the Multiplayer Trophies, if you wish.

Transylvanian Victory Win the Witch rally in Transylvania.

A Witch Rally is a points style competition where you compete in 4 races over 3 laps.
If you have the most amount of points over the course of the 4 races you will be crowned the winner.

Transylvania is located on the left side of the Location selection screen.

Oriental Victory Win the Witch rally in the Orient.

A Witch Rally is a points style competition where you compete in 4 races over 3 laps.
If you have the most amount of points over the course of the 4 races you will be crowned the winner.

Orient is located in the middle of the Location selection screen.

Prehistoric Victory Win the Witch rally in the age of the saurs.

A Witch Rally is a points style competition where you compete in 4 races over 3 laps.
If you have the most amount of points over the course of the 4 races you will be crowned the winner.

Age of the Dinosaurs is located on the right side of the Location selection screen.

Unbeatable Win a Witch rally finishing first in each race.

Finish first place in all four races over the Witch Rally stages and this trophy will be yours.

A Strong Team Win a team race.

This can be done with AI within the Single Player > Team Race. As long as you finish in first place out of everybody you will get the trophy.

Comprehensive Victory Win a team race with your team taking the first 4 places.

This can be quite tricky if you do not have any couch co-op buddies to assist you, as the chances of doing this with just the AI is pretty slim.

Being as you have the ability to control 4 players for Among Friends, we can make use of this for this particular trophy too.

Join your 4 human players, and place 3 onto the opposite team to yourself. All you need to do now is to ensure that the one AI controlled player on the other team finishes in fifth place. Simple.

This trophy failed to unlock for me unless I actually won the race with my main character, not just the team winning.

Among Friends Fly a race with 4 players.

You will need a way to control 4 human players for this one. Whether that be by remote play, extra controllers, or indeed by swapping between users on your PS4.

This trophy also failed to unlock for me unless I won the race with my main character.

Looking Glass World Fly a race in Mirror Mode.

Mirror Mode is activated by pressing  on the Location selection screen.

This can be combined with the Multiplayer Trophies, if you wish.

Only Flying Is Better Fly a race with Motion controls.

Whoever through Motion Control in racing games was a good idea, was not thinking straight.

This is still pretty easy, but boy is it a bit strange to race that way.

Bibi Superstar Win a race with Bibi on Apple Pie.

If following the Roadmap you will earn this on during your first Rally.

Bibi is the very first Character on the selection screen, and Apple Pie is the very first Broomstick.

Flowipowi Superstar Win a race with Flowipowi on Daisy.

If following the Roadmap you will earn this on during your second Rally.

Flowipowi is the second Character on the selection screen (Top, second from left), and Daisy is the second Broomstick (Top, second from left).

Sheba Superstar Win a race with Sheba on Kawakasi.

If following the Roadmap you will earn this on during your third Rally.

Sheba is the third Character on the selection screen (Top, second from right), and Kawakasi is the seventh Broomstick (Bottom, second from right). Kawakasi unlocked after winning the Transylvania Rally.

Arcadia Superstar Win a race with Arcadia on Fetzi.

Arcadia is the fourth Character on the selection screen (Top, far right), and Fetzi is the third Broomstick (Top, second from right).

Xenia Superstar Win a race with Xenia on Woody.

Arcadia is the fifth Character on the selection screen (Bottom, far left), and Woody is the fourth Broomstick (Top, far right).

Speedster Accelerate through 5 turbo potions in one race.

The Turbo potions will only be awarded if you are towards the back of the places during the race. The best way to do this is to hang out at the back in last place and keep flying over the same potion again and again. As soon as you’ve collected and used 5 you will get the trophy.

Drifter Trigger a turbo boost by drifting.

Not the easiest thing to do on this game, but you will most probably earn this without even thinking. There is a decent corner on Gloomy Cemetery in Transylvania, or indeed Frankenfein Horror Hotel in Transylvania, where you would be able to get it.

You simply just need to keep turning long enough for the game to recognise that you are, and the drift will begin. There is no button to force a drift, as you would expect.

Slipstream Flier Get a turbo boost by flying in a slipstream.

You will be awarded a boost if you follow directly behind an opponent for a number of seconds. The boosts are vital to being successful in this game, so be sure to line yourself up.
You will also see a build up of power animation around your character when you are in the right line.

Turbo Starter Start a race with a turbo start.

As soon as you see the 2 in the countdown to the start you will need to hold . This will award you with a turbo start, and you will zoom off out front.

Party Pooper Slow down 5 players with brake potions in one race.

Brake Potions are like placing a parachute on the back of your opponents, and they are one of the many power ups that you will receive for flying through the potions. Once you have successfully collected 5 throughout a single 3 lap race you will be awarded the trophy.

Just keep collecting and using as many potions as you possibly can.

Self-preservation Neutralize a rival witch with a protection potion.

A Protection Potion puts you in a little bubble, and makes you immune to being hit by your opponents. When you have one active simply run into another opponent projectile to knock them for six.

Stormy Times Conjure up 5 whirlwinds in one race.

Whirlwinds are one of the many power ups that you will receive for flying through the potions. Once you have successfully collected 5 throughout a single 3 lap race you will be awarded the trophy.

Just keep collecting and using as many potions as you possibly can.

Mind the Trap! One trap potion hits 3 witches at the same time.

A little bit luck based, but you stand a good chance of getting this trophy when you use one of the attack power ups.
As soon as you clear out 3 opponents with one, the trophy will pop

Wizz-wizz! Use 10 witches’ potions in one race.

You can collect the potions by simply flying into them. They are used via the / , and they vary in power/usefulness.

Not all races will give you the opportunity to do this, however Gloomy Cemetery in Transylvania is a great one for this.

Confident of Victory Win a race with an active teleportation potion.

The Teleportation potions will only be awarded if you are towards the back of the places during the race, and when used you are teleported at great speed further up the track.

You will need to cross the finish line in first place whilst using this potion, so you will need to hang towards the back of the places until you have collected one, then race towards the front of the pack before using it just in time to get it to carry over the line in first.

Personally I didn’t have to win the race to achieve this, I simply had to cross the line with it active.
