Introduction:

Welcome to the Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The First Cases trophy walkthrough!
Developed by Blazing Griffin, and published to consoles by Microïds, this game follows the famed detective Hercule Poirot before he became the deductive legend we know and love today. Help Poirot to unravel a dastardly blackmail scheme – and solve a murder on the side!

Video guides of this walkthrough are fine as long as I am credited in the video and the guide linked!

Tips and Strategies:

The auto save icon is actually in the lower left corner of the screen! Make sure you aren’t doing anything while the auto save icon is on screen, just in case.

This is a long game, with no chapter select and several game-spanning trophies. At the beginning of each case, back up your save, so you can make sure you’ve done everything before fully moving on to the next chapter.

Unless specifically noted, your dialogue choices do not matter – most of the time you’ll just be exhausting the dialogue. The only time I’ve listed dialogue choices are for the defence-lowering conversations – indicated by the shield surrounding the character portrait.

This chapter is just a lot of talking – the classic scene of the detective laying out the entire case to the suspects, interspersed with you doing several of the defense-lowering conversations.  You need to do all of the conversations perfectly for Bronze Probably the Greatest Detective in the World.
