Welcome to the Super Destronaut DX-2 Trophy Guide!
The eagerly anticipated sequel to the smash hit Super Destronaut DX finally hits the PSN. Petite Games has done wonders once more or a fluid shooter!

Grab those trophies in next to no time and have a whole lot of fun along the way challenging your high scores!

Roadmap:

Step 1: Complete the first 2 Worlds
You will need to complete the first 10 Challenges across the first 2 worlds, plus ensure you get a Gold Rating in one of them for With honors. There is no requiement to obtain any other Gold Rating’s, however you will probably get most of them through the first 10 Challenges.

You’ll be earning these trophies:

Cruise Detroyer
With honors
Piscis Austrinus
Virgo

Step 2: Play Arcade Mode
The Rest of the trophies will come by reaching a certain score within each of the 5 Arcade Modes. Once you’ve reached the relevant Score simply die to get the relevant trophies to pop, and then move onto the next.

Here’s a quick run down of the scores required –

• Classic Mode – 30K, 60K & 120K
• Time Attack – 15K
• Time Rush – 15K & 35K
• Bullet Mode – 15K & 35K
• Hardcore Mode – 5K

During this step you’ll earn these trophies:

Ophiuchus
Leo
Ursa Major
Cetus
Canis Major
Sagittarius
Andromeda
Eridanus

Tips and Strategies:

You can fire with a number of different buttons ( / / ), which can be held in all battle scenarios except the Bullet Mode ones. In Bullet Mode you are limited to the amount of bullets you have throughout the challenge, so use these sparingly.
You can also slow time down for a limited time with the button.

In order to make things even easier the first thing you will want to do is to head into the settings and have them as below. It is not too bad if you do not, but this just makes the whole thing a little easier.

Platinum Destronaut 2 Get all the trophies

Collected all other trophies. Congrats.

The easiest trophy in most games…. Who doesn’t like their first death?!

Cruise Detroyer Kill one battlecruiser

The Battlecruiser will sporadically appear and fly across the top of the screen from right to left. It will take a number of hits, but you will like the outcome when you kill it for the first time.

Alpha Centauri Reach to 30K points in Classic Mode

See Leo.

Ophiuchus Reach to 60K points in Classic Mode

See Leo.

Leo Reach to 120K points in Classic Mode

Classic Mode is a simple format of “get the highest score”. A never ending mode that will go on forever (if you’re really that good at it).

Luckily for us all we need to do is reach 120K for all 3 of the trophies related to this Mode.
Keep trying until you reach this score and then let yourself be killed for all 3 trophies to pop once the score is confirmed.

Ursa Major Reach 15K in Time Attack

During this mode you start of with 30 seconds and are awarded more time once you have killed all of the enemies within the screen. This shouldn’t take too much effort and should be done within a couple of minutes.

Canis Major Reach 15K in Time Rush

Cetus Reach 35K in Time Rush

You have 120 seconds in Time Rush to get the highest score possible. Chain kills together and you will have this done in no time at all. ONce you thave obtained the relevant score you can simply idle until the time runs out.

Sagittarius Reach 15K in Bullet Mode

Andromeda Reach 35K in Bullet Mode

Bullet Mode is arguably the hardest mode, due to the fact that you can actually run out of those bullets. Do not worry too much about this however, as bullets can be resupplied at certain points within the game.

This should take you a matter of minutes to complete. My Bullet Mode run can be found here.

Eridanus Reach 5K in Hardcore Mode

This literally takes seconds. Head into Arcade Mode, then Hardcore Mode and shoot a dozen or so enemies. It really is that simple.

Piscis Austrinus Complete Wold 1

Simply complete the 5 Challenges within this World and this trophy will be yours. In order to finish the Challenge you must destroy all enemies that appear within the time limit. The only variation is the Bullet Mode Challenge where you simply need to destroy all enemies without running out of bullets.

Virgo Complete Wold 2

Simply complete the 5 Challenges within this World and this trophy will be yours. In order to finish the Challenge you must destroy all enemies that appear within the time limit. The only variation is the Bullet Mode Challenge where you simply need to destroy all enemies without running out of bullets.

With honors Get a gold rating on any challenge

Can be obtained in any one of the 10 challenges that you need to complete in order to get through the first 2 Worlds. Points are awarded for combos and time achieved within the challenges, and you should have no issues obtaining the Gold Rating in a number of these challenges.
